cool! BUT is it the short version cape? not the long version like on the promo pics, where the cape hangs on the floor...

Nice work weltmaster! He looks really great!

Biceps mod caused the gaunlets not to sit further back and that on its point causes less handwrist articulation.
Imo, no big deal since I just love the simple arms against the body + bald fist pose....so not much wrist articulation is needed on that matter.
I even had to cut parts/slim down the body armor under the gaunlet to let the gaunlet sit back far enough to make the handwrist "click" inside the arm.

That's a big part of why I haven't done the mod. I like to have the wrists flexed in just a bit, even when he has his arms at his side.


I'd post a pic to illustrate the point, but that would be sleazy...

there is one little issue that I lucky am not to bothered with, but his left ear is a bit warped to the inside....

are there perhaps some remedies to fix that?

However I did see a picture from a TDK figure with a short custom cape, and it was your figure if I am correct:

This is a custom cape from buddy lee too or is it from lforigno?

Yep, and yeppers. It's buddylee's. He did make the short ones if you asked. Whether he still makes them now, I don't know as it's been that long since I can remember. Or at least feels that way.

I was referring to wrist position. The stock figure allows wrist flexion, which I like and don't want to sacrifice by doing the bi-cep armor mod.

I had it on the DX as well at one point. Sideshots, rear shots and all. It may be in this thread but it was a long time ago. Maybe June 2010...

Thats where I've kept the buddylee short version permanently. It's got a nice subtle sheen to it. One side is matte the other has a slight sheen.

Mine has the same amount of wrist movement that it did when I first took him out of the box.
