didn't they say that the DX suit was still a work in progress and that the current suit was a reworked version of the MMS Batman(TDK suit)?

There's a lot of confusion about that. According to MILK (a Hong Kong Magazine) yes; the photos we've seen so far are of the new DX head(s) and accessories but the bodies are from the v.1 TDK Batman. But according to a HT rep (from the Tokyo Toy Show) everything we've seen so far IS the new DX Batman and ONLY the photos IN MILK are on a v.1 body. So who knows what's what. The release date isn't until Jan. so a lot could change until then. Maybe what we're seeing IS the new suit but HT will still change it like how they did with the v.1 version. Maybe they won't. It's too early to tell.

The more photos that are shown make the new stuff look great. But also make the suit/body look out of place. It would be nice if Hot Toys would let us know what's up.

Got to love the realism on the face and the texture of the skin, 2nd photo. The grain on the head I still cannot take to. I keep thinking it's cast or something the way it looks all pitted. As if it was really fragile.

Though that could be the camera picking up every minute detail being so close. You know what the fluffies are like! As I remember viewing v1 last night you only see it up extremely close.

The face area and pers looks stellar!

Hot Toys detail on weaponry I think is bloomin amazing!

It's unreal the portrait quality on this figure, I'm going to have a lot of fun making photos with this thing, too bad it's like 8 months away.

Thats seriously creepy. I keep thinking of what's his name the doctor, Doctor Smith in Lost in Space 1998 at the end as he takes the hooded clothing off and you see his big long neck.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking when I thought that looked right; it was 6am, so I probably fully awake yet!

But I think some part of this supposed 'new suit' will be changed between now and release, because like MF said, it's 8 months away!

I'm not seeing the TDK DX on sideshow's website. Is sideshow not going to distribute this in the U.S.?

No,DC Direct will(though it hasn't been formally announced yet,I'd imagine you'll find it in next months solicitations).

Those face sculpts are breathtaking. The photos in HT's website aren't as flattering as these. I'm also amazed the flesh looks so lifelike. I wonder if they're using the skin layering they used for the Two Face heads.

It'll be great too if they get rid of the mold seams/flash that run around the sides of the head but from a mass production viewpoint, I guess that'll be too tedious to do.

yes the headsculpt is really nice.. no complaints at all (this is for some ppl who think that I am nitpicking). But please don't concentrate on the headsculpt only and please consider the fatness of the body.... and the fact that it's got the same suit ... just hope that HT will change the suit/body fit and sculpt

Hope he comes with this long cape. I'm loving it. Headsculpt is perfect, just the body... they changed those chestplates, but still are using this "fat" v1 body. Come on HT, bring it on now! I really have the feeling that they're just too lazy to do more on this figure.

i totally agree with you about the armor and body but the cape should not be that long. It should not be superman short but the cape should just be hitting the floor or just laying on the floor. The cape is not too long but needs to be like 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch shorter which makes a huge difference in 1/6 scale. And they really need the cape to have the V cut in the back.

One thing what I disliked on the cape of the v1 tdk was that it was so hard to control it and pose it just straight. It always just goes brighter to the left and right side. With a longer cape you have the chance to futz it so, that it lays straight to the bottom and just look alright like in the movie...

Don't know what I'm talking about, hope you understand what I mean
