Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Nose looks slightly bigger in the latest photo. Closer resemblance to Reeves
Weren't people complaining about that being off early on?

:eek :eek

It has definitely been improved. Look at the profile that now draws hair. It has a more intense look: It´s alive. Bravo HT :clap:clap:clap

Hot Toys NEVER ceases to amaze me. Amazing work on the newly tweaked sculpt! :yess:

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

guys come on it's definitely tweaked. Looks awesome!

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Looks infinitely better. Now THAT is a Reeve likeness.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Of course this has been tweaked (thankfully). How anybody can still have doubts or say this looks like the one at SDCC is beyond me.

Mb it was tweaked but I'm not seeing it.
It's all 'bout light and shadows that makes a LOT difference.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind that it's been tweaked. And I couldn't be happier with the results. :love

washed out photo to photo that has shadows :dunno

No.

Yes.

Forget shadows. The actual shape is different. The eyes, the nose, the jaw.

[I think] the eyes are painted differently too. They are looking more up, which will help for flight poses.
[Edit] They almost look like PERS now...

All of a suden really, really excited for this figure. :)

Looks great.:clap Obviously tweaked. Looks like they also emphasized the S in the hair. Happy to pick this one up and a 2 in 1 if hot toys ever release it.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Definitely NOT the same sculpt from SDCC. And I thought it looked good there. This is perfection now.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

The "S" curl definitely looks better.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I would have been happy before. But I never felt excited for the figure to the extent that I am now.

It just hits me in the gut now. I will actually have Christopher Reeve on my shelf.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

It doesn't look re-sculpted, just different angles and lighting conditions.

The official picture was taken using more studio light and the angle is higher because you can see the nostrils.

the glass case picture is taken from above (no nostrils) and lit from the side with more of a natural light, he looks more angry because its a darker picture.

Sorry

Just saying that the face is not different but the photographer probably is.
