Yes it is, one of the favs in my display.

Same here! Classic stuff...I never get tired of looking at and posing this figure.

I like this one...the background and desaturation adds that oh-so-awesome realism.

I'm thinking about making a fortress of solitude control board to put my Supes behind. Something like the pic below. Anyone have any advice what I should use?

I'd start with clear acrylic rods (solid), tubes (hollow) and sheet cut according to detail. And a bit of paint.

Not bad but like Apone said he needs to lay off the green.

I like the ideal of using pens for some of the tubes. And the styrofoam ain't a bad ideal either.

I was thinking about using that fake spray snow stuff you get around Christmas time to put around the bottom.

Anyone ever use it? Should I?

I agree and why re-work that sculpt? I mean I understand why some have in order to customize him into the evil Supes from part 3, but other than that, I don't see the need in my book.

It does look better, but it's very subtle.

I agree that the iris is a little too large, but I bet in-hand they look good.

Anyone knows if letting him hold'd by the clamps in "flying" position damages the fabric somehow?
A crappy iPhone pic of mine....love this figure.

Anyone got an opinion on this?
Id like to know before I try out poses using the flight stand. Thanks!

Flight stand doesn't hurt it. I would be comfortable having a long term flight display with it.

He did something to the eyes too didn't he? they look a little different.

The re-paint brings out the shape of the face, looks more like Reeve. I'd love to see more side by sides.

The eyes are good but I know a few people who hate white dots, much more noticeable now.

I hate white dot's. There are no white dots on that paint job.

My mistake. I thought the white over the pupil was paint. Closer look I see it's gloss.

I agree, the gaze on the repaint is better. Though the improvement is so incremental it doesn't diminish my opinion of the stock version.

Oh I agree, I like the repaint but I wouldn't bother doing it to mine because IMO the paint job on the eyes is just fine.
