as others already said, it's not a CATWOMAN figure. it's a selina kyle figure and she didn't always wear the mask.

True, but that's when she's actually Selina. When she has her thief suit on, she never removes her mask/goggles. Isn't accuracies one of the reasons people buy HT? IMO, it would look weird to display a "Cathaway" figure without the mask.

Though, I do agree a maskless head would be nice if it's a DX that comes with her Audrey Hepburn outfit she wore at the airport.

I wanted the mask to be removable just to see what likeness they got off of Anne Hathaway.

The hair from the pics looks spot on to the film.

Me too. Was really hoping to see the Anne Hathaway likeness. Oh well, if not, no biggie.

...I mean, if I had to biyatch about something because I was paying around $190 for it I'd go straight to the lack of any accessories. This set is such a bare-boned lazy dump of a release. It's a single side-arm away from having zero accessories. Zero freaking accessories in a near two-bills figure and people have been haggling for 3000-odd posts whether a mask will be removable or not

SSC website now has her listed as MAY, no longer says MARCH.

YUP! Just had my notification from SSC telling me that my final flex would not be until May. So not only is it not going to be this month...it's not even going to be NEXT month either This two-or-more months push is awful, the last time it happened to me was with Avengers Cap:A and now LOKI.

HT need to start getting real about release dates. To miss dates on one or two figures per year would not be too bad (though in itself, bad enough) but to be consistently wrong on what appears to be every single figure you make is just plain deliberate...or so it seems.

This is the truth. I knew there was something to the fact that there don't seem to be any in-hand pics anywhere.

I will say that I'm only kinda happy that this gives me more time to pay for my Bat-Pod now.

At this rate, I should have them at the same time.

Who cares about the mask? What would people possibly display her as other than Catwoman?

-Selina in a maid uniform?
-Selina in a dress?
-Selina in civilian clothes with an apple?

They have a toyline that gives you the option of dressing your doll in different everyday outfits if you like, it's called Barbie

The way the hair is rooted you can't even adjust her hairstyle to match these looks. She never takes the mask off in the movie when she is Catwoman so this is film accurate (and people will still cut her up and make adjustments to make her even more film accurate regardless of the mask).

It is such a small piece it would be a pain to figure out a way to get it to attach. I'd rather have it permanently affixed than constantly falling off and possibly losing it.

Catwoman suit with mask up would probably be something a number of people would like to display, especially given you can put a cowl-less Bruce Wayne head on the DX12.

At this price I'd expect it to be a feature. Given all the press/proto images, I'm expecting however, that it isn't. Unless something's changed - which is possible given the extended production time.

It is such a small piece it would be a pain to figure out a way to get it to attach.

Magnets. Besides, if design weren't almost always a pain in the a55, everyone would do it. (Seriously what's up with the insane word filter on this forum? Is the site based in Utah or something?)

Except she never does this in the movie, she only adjusts her goggles as Catwoman. Bruce does appear cowl-less which is why DX-12 came with a Bruce head.

I'm not against it, I could care less either way, but the way some people have been going on and on and on about it make it sound like it is a some kind deal breaker which it reall shouldn't be.

i don't know anybody saying it's a deal breaker and who cares if she did or didn't flip her goggles in the movie. it would just be fun.
