I've enjoyed all 4 movies because, as you said, they're just fun.

What about a nuclear man figure? LOL I'm in the minority of "I actually enjoyed nuclear mans cheesiness" . Destroy.. Superman *cue roar*

As a kid, I called him "Sun-Man" lol

I loved how they dubbed Gene Hackman's voice over Nuclear Man. Super cheddar.

I didn't hate Superman IV either, it's the worst of the Reeve bunch for sure, but stupid fun, played for optimum hokeyness. Personally, I can re-watch "Superman IV" more than I can re-watch "Superman Returns."

To each his own.
But it's just AWFULLY GOOD.

Oh I really like all the Superman films, but I just think it's unfortunate that Chris had his movie hijacked by Richard Pryor. It certainly does not stop me from watching it whenever it's on, or - over time - from buying the VHS, the vinyl, the Laserdiscs, the CDs, the DVDs (various sets) and now the Blurays.

Actually, the Japanese Laserdisc version of SM-IV is the only way to see the complete and uncut version, with full volcano sequence I think. Unless it's in the Blu set.

I really didn't mind Pryor doing his "thing" in superman 3. But then again, I'm a tad bias - my parents taped it for me when I was a kid and it was the only superman movie I owned. I actually wore the tape out because I watched it so much. The scene where reeves rips the dude out of the car was worn right out because I rewound it and re watched it over and over LOL!

And I can still hear that cheesy music from the brad and gus drinking scene in my head till this day haha.

Japanese laser disc? I wouldn't mind seeing that!

Great stuff.
"BOTH KEYS AT THE SAME TIME":horror:slap
I know the film has alot of flaws but as adults we always pick holes in things.
As a kid I loved the film and the big kid in me still does:)

'There's no Vodka in it' :rotfl

I love that whole scene between Brad and Gus right from when Gus finds Brad sleeping at the front of the building that he is suppose to be securing. :lol

This actually makes III and IV look pretty cool...
