Thats a shame.
True though if people keep buying then they get away with it.How are the boots?
Just bought a pair for my custom surely they are ok
Was actually coming round to thinking I might have been too harsh before but seems not.
Anybody else got the figure?
Whats your thoughts compared to the original in terms of quality?
Boots are great (just slightly darkened version of previous boots).
Best HT sculpted base I've seen, it's very very good in hand. The base will probably cost as much as a figure on ebay. I hope I'm wrong because I'd like to get it.
[/QUOTE]Would anyone here know if it's possible to add (via molding) a hair sculpt to an already existing hair sculpt. For example, I would like to customize my Hot toys Superman Chris Reeve head to look more like the "Evil Superman" head/hair. I believe with a little "Futzing around" it could be done.....However, i would like to get the opinion of experts like the customizers here.
Would like the hair to go from this..............
To this...............
Easy enough, just use some air hardening milliput.
True, there was a time not so long ago that I used to enjoy Hot Toys sets so much, that I even bought licenses/stuff that I was only barely interested in, because the quality and joy of opening a set was enough. They will continue on the down hill, if folks complain but still end up buying these anyways. Just like what happened to mcfarlane toys.
Those days are gone. From here on in, it's only sets with a real draw that will get me hooked.
