wow your <S> is really low

It is, I saw a video review with one pretty low too and assumed it was normal, until I compared it to some pics in this thread

Think I should return it and ask for another?

they are having "S" issues.

mine came crooked, so i got a refund. now i see this...makes me wonder. i have seen 1 or 2 that werent crooked somewhat. mine was way off, and yours looks to also be way off the intended location. might be a crap shoot, but i would rather have a crooked S than a low S.

Crooked s would be worse IMO, u have any pics of yours?

wow the guy in the video did some fantastic poses and he utilized the base with the superman very well.Gonna have to steal some of his poses

Great review. I love the fact you include your son in all your reviews. It's great to see that kind of sharing between father and son. Plus it underscores the fact this hobby is really for both the young and the young at heart. Great points throughout regarding the figure and the film it was inspired from. The Evil version will be my first from the Superman/Reeves line. My last payment posts next week, so I should be seeing him around the middle of the month. I'm on the fence about getting the first Superman release for the very reason you mention regarding a future Clark Kent figure. I have to believe that would be a special edition Superman with Clark Kent head and outfit option. And who knows? Maybe by then they'll do some other head sculpts too, like having Superman screaming when he takes off to spin the earth around to save Lois? I think that would be a cool one to have. So I'm holding out hopes they'll do one better. Super fun review though. And your son makes great points of his own. Great job.

I honestly figured Hot toys intended it to be lower than the original release? If it is meant to have the same placement as the original and mine was simply applied lower, then I am glad I got a mess-up in this instance. I feel like the lower symbol helps differentiate this more from the original release, and it even looks a little more screen accurate to evil Supes with the "S" not sitting as high this time around-

Agreed, plus my original supes is a tad high compared to others I have seen

It is more screen accurate. Funny how I never noticed it before.
