i have a feeling that there is going to be alot of customs of these show up in the near future.
i might even pick another one up down the road on the cheap, which i think will be possible with this one, just to play around with.

of course they first have to get sold from ss to make it to the secondary market.:(
and if everyone continues to cancel, that's not helping out those of us wanting to pick it up later on the cheap. come on guys buy all of these so you can lose some $$$ on them trying to flip them.:lol

Just wait until next year or even a couple years and get one when Sideshow will be trying to unload them cheaper during Spooktacular! :lol

yeah, but ss idea of a discount is 50% off shipping or 8-12% off retail, but of course they take it off of GC then. so the best place to get them is from ebay on actual auctions. that's if any of them get shipped out:lol:lol

It looks like he ate Santa :) Frodo's jacket color would have been a better fit for Moria.

The sculpt is definately perfect. Still waiting for pics to be posted, but even the adjusted picture will look too red. Any ideas on how to weather the pleather? I don't think paint brush will work, you have to dye it. I assume that the armor is not removable.

it would be nice if the material/costume could be removed, then a guy could take it and weather it and beat on it so it would look more tattered and full of holes. a hammer and some rough cement would give the hanging on by a thread look the original had, or even media blasting, but it would have to be removeable.

Well the colour of the Red obviously comes down to personal opinion.

The guys that took the earlier shots confirmed that it looks exactly the same in hand as their pics.

Now we have someone saying it doesnt so who knows maybe what it really comes down to is how much you want to keep it or how disappointed you are.

Either way as long as your happy with your decision of keeping it or sending it back.:)

Wow...I totally dropped off this thread and missed the fiasco.

I canceled my EX before it shipped because I couldn't justify the $$ and space. I wasn't even aware that there was a big deal with the color of the cloth. Hopefully that means I can score it down the line at a great price :)
