Thanks rushmore. Yeah I'll keep you posted as well. So far the only posters I'm finding in true one-sheet size are not in English:

Hopefully we can get one to turn up.

I didn't even know this thread existed. I used to collect movie posters back in high school, all original one sheets. I don't buy them anymore, but kept all the ones that I had, mainly 80s and 90s properties: Jurassic Park, Empire Strikes Back, Hellraiser, Robocop, Die Hard, Hunt for Red October, Dances with Wolves, a bunch of Indiana Jones...The only ones I have framed are Raiders of the Lost Ark and Gladiator. The others are stored away.

Hey choopie, yeah' this thread was buried.I almost started a new one.Sounds like you have some nice posters. You should go back through them. It's fun to see the artwork and creativity that went into them.Post some pics for fun.

Here are the Raiders and Gladiator posters. The Gladiator poster is French. I didn't like the US versions.

Movie poster art has definitely gotten more lazy and less creative in the last 30 years. Nice to see other members here have such nice collections. I'd post my collection, but they are all in tubes at the moment.

I'm not sure of an exact number. But I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 posters, it's been years since I tried to list them all.

I'm holding out for a few lightboxes, but right now I don't want to spend the money on them.

choopie, that Gladiator poster is real nice has some emotion to it.I can see why you chose it instead of the US versions. The Raiders poster is great.

rushmore223, 500 posters.. I'D love to go through those, that would be fun.Take some time but I bet you have some gems in there.Post some pics if you get back into them.

here's a 1970 WDRTE linen backed six sheet 81"x81".I'M going to be selling this to make room for a few other Star Wars one sheets I want to display.Lots more to come.

Yeah, I've been collecting since I was 12, almost 33 years (Gulp!) amassing some nice posters. I have some turkeys too, though.

Of what I own, I'd say my favorites are:

Star Wars Style A (x2 one rolled and one folded)
Star Wars Style D
Blade Runner
A Clockwork Orange
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Conan The Barbarian
RoboCop
Naked Lunch
The Lord of the Rings Teaser A and B
Revenge of the Jedi Advance
Rocketeer Advance
Beauty and the Beast IMAX
Beauty and the Beast Advance
Fargo
Silence of the Lambs Teaser A, B, and One-sheet
Return of the Jedi Style B
Shawshank Redemption
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Pulp Fiction

Too many to choose from, but sadly it will be a while before I Have any displayed again

Glad to see more poster collectors on here

Agreed. Posters now are horrible and lack all creativity. I barely get modern posters.

Excellent picks from your collection. You have some nice pieces.

I'M still adding to my 1977 Star Wars collection I have D unfolded and A&C one sheets.A insert and 1/2 Sheet which is my favorite SW poster of all time. Those are all pictured in my first post.I still want to get the 1977 Foil with the original pointed W and the style B one sheet.
Also to complete my 1983 Return of the Jedi OS set I'M looking for a Revenge right now.
The Raiders are in one of the pics I posted.Blade Runner and Clockwork I have inserts for.Pulp Fiction I have.Rocketeer is actually a nice looking poster and Shawshank (the one with him in the rain with his arms up)is very cool.Wouldn't mind finding that one at some point.

just got this back from being linen backed.. The Baroness and the Butler original 1937 OS.It was a toss up with having some restoration or none.So I didn't have anything done to it.The Ghost Breakers original 1940 OS I took out of an old wood frame that I actually had it stretched. No more stretched canvas for me.It will have to be cut perfect to the original border then I'll get a new frame for it.

Very nice, love those Vintage posters!

Man, I almost forgot, I also have that Style A half sheet, and I agree, that should have been on my favorites list. I knew I'd forget something!

I have a chance to get a Star Wars Style C for a fraction of what it's worth, unfortunately at the moment, I just can't validate the expenditure.

Yeah' it a tough call. You would probably jump on it if you were displaying them and in the midst of collecting.Good deals always seem to happen when you are not looking. And not in need.

After my 40's 50's vintage posters,I wanted to focus on the 1977 Star Wars Only. And I did for awhile collecting my favorite 4 out of the 6 1977 originals. But I had to continue with Empire and Jedi. Then it seemed no matter how I felt about The Phantom Menace,Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith films my collection would not be complete without the posters.Dru's artwork is actually pretty nice on all those. And now Episode VII The Force Awakens. The Kylo Ren is the Original 27x40 DS Intl. Release that a friend sent me from Singapore.
With Rogue One and Episode VIII coming soon I'll never be able to stop.So here are a couple of more walls with the later Star Wars Originals.

I did the same thing with the Indiana Jones franchise, collecting the original domestic one sheets from all the films. Struzan's work really drew me in. His Last Crusade art is particularly nice, especially the advance one sheet. I have all the originals except for the re-release Raiders poster. I have it, but it's a reproduction. I wish I could get them framed, but I simply don't have enough wall space.

Same here, the only Indy poster I don't have is the Raiders rerelease.

Yeah' wall space.I told myself when I started collecting that if I can't view them I would not collect them.I never got completely out of hand but I broke my own rule by about 15-20 posters.

Struzan's Art really made me collect a lot of pieces I would not have.

A few more walls with newer Films, with a couple of 70's 80's inserts.Honestly I think the newer one sheets will only be for awhile.I need those Frames for more vintage pieces. Most of those Frames are 27x41 anyway.
