my namor should have been here on monday but i had to put a "hold" on his delivery until 2/23 to be here for delivery (signature in person)from ups. he wouldn't let my neighbors sign for it even though i requested it. anybody else have to go though this? i work shifts so i am either home or at work for deliveries and i make every effort to be here when he delivers short of taking the day off. i even leave him a note at what times i will be here and he still comes at the same time. fedex on the other hand will actually call and come back if i am home. anybody request fedex only with sideshow?

The new UPS guy for my area starting doing the same thing. After the last dance with him when a package of mine was missed three times (was at work) and sent back to the seller, I requested sideshow ship all my packages via Fed-Ex.

and have they?

For me, UPS works the best. Fed-Ex tries deliveries while I'm at work, at least with UPS they attemp after 4:00 most times. But I still have had to call them and put a hold on some items so I can pick it up in person if I know I'm going to miss the next delivery attempt.

My UPS guy knows who I am, that's for sure.

IMO UPS>Fed Ex

Fed Ex sucks...they "have" to attempt three deliveries before you can put a hold for pick up which means I won't see my stuff for an extra four days. UPS, on the other hand, I can put on hold and pick up the same day that they attempt delivery and they are only a couple miles from my house.

The ladies at the UPS shipping center know me well. They don't even have to ask for my information anymore. :lol

i think i have a new ups guy. the old one was pretty good and would let my neighbor sign because he knew me. i used to feel the same way about ups vs fedex. i only recently started having this problem.

Yes they have. i use to never have this problem with UPS because if I missed him I would just sign the back of the info notice and they would leave the package there the next day they came. Now the UPS guy says he has to get my signature in person. At least the Fed-Ex guy will let me sign the slip and leave the package at my door when they next come around.

:confused:I think I'm entitled to post whatever I want here just like everyone else....if you don't like what I said, simply ignore it!....sheesh, some people.......

Sorry mods for the last post:D

Jinx, you can post what you want--well for the most part, sorry again mods--but you seem to only come to this thread to blindly bash this piece, so maybe your time might be better spent elsewhere. Maybe someplace where you can add to a discussion instead of taking away from.

like I said, FUBAR....check e-bay, you'll see what I'm talking about!...and seriously, have u read most of the posts here!?... majority pretty much bash this piece to pieces!...u want constructive discussion!?..ok....I think Bowen's version of Namor is a great representation of the man...aloof and regal, the statue pretty much says it all!...why do I think that!?....because I happened to own that piece until I had to get rid of it!...why, u ask!?...I'll give you a hint.......aquarium...........now I'm done!:peace

Chilax buddy--

I owned the Bowen classic Namor, and I agree with your interpretation of that piece, but this piece was not trying to portray his nobility, and I think that is where the disconnect of the fans and Sideshow's Namor comes from--most fans wanted a different portrayal of Namor from Sideshow.

There may be room for both the Bowen and Sideshow Namor in a collection since they do represent different sides of the character.

All of us Namor fans wished Sideshow did a better job on the face but the sad fact is that they didn't so we are left with the choice that either we accept this piece as is or leave it alone. Overall I think this turned out well except for the face and head (for me). If you are a Namor fan then this is something you'll want. I have the HH Namor and its the best sculpt overall IMO. The Bowen Namor is nice as well but the size of this makes all others look small. That's the one saving grace that Sideshow has and that is its sculpts tend to dominate all other manufactures due to its size. I will admit that if you don't have the trident the sculpt doesn't look as good. Is this piece worth what I paid? no, so if you can find the exclusive on ebay for less than retail I'd jump on it.

Big. So the poor face sculpt is nice and large. Nice. Why would a fan want a really large poor face sculp. So a sock can fit it?
