You are correct sir. One of my favorite moments from my Bulls team running ramped in the 90's was Van Gundy running his mouth before an elimination game. He was going off about how Jordan would make friends with you off the court and use it against you on it. Pissed Jordan off and he dropped 55 I believe on them as he knocked the knicks out. Oh yeah as he backed down court he waved good bye to spike lee.

How did you come up with the conclusion Rondo is the 2nd best defensive player in the league? Last time I checked, Lebron was 2nd in the voting 2 years in a row. I would say he is #4 behind Kobe
I also agree that it wasnt smart for Pierce to say that, but when I heard it, I didnt even think anything of it. If he said somethin like hes a Kobe stopper or somethin, then maybe it would have stuck inside my head. I dont think Boston will win all 3 at home; after the 1st game, I dont even think they will win the series, but its not like he promised anything like some even bigger idiots.

Oh and you were right about Pierce's sideburns, they are pathetic.
Fisher never seemed to get much respect in my eyes, despite being a very solid, consistent player in the playoffs for many years. But then, the good, reliable player that isn't flashy and doesn't get commercials or do "outrageous" things off the court usually isn't given enough attention. This is the case in all sports. LA fans are probably worse than others because of where they are situated, wanting all their players to be huge "stars" like Kobe and Magic.
