The "SUPER" Team still has to go through either Orlando, Boston, Chicago

and the L.A. LAKERS!!!

HEAT vs. LAKERS match-ups

LeBron - Artest
Wade - Fisher (if he resigns)
Bosh - Gasol or Odom
??? - Bryant
??? - Bynum

Oh yeah it's 5 on 5 right?
:lecture :exactly: :goodpost: :hi5:

BEST POST EVER.

Well said dude. I know you were a big fan of this dude, but as you said he showed his character.

I'm gonna give ya big hug at SDCC for the part in bold! :1-1:

I was. I wanted him in Chicago. However, the part the REALLY bugs me is a 1 hours special to stab your hometown in the heart and then pour salt in that spot.

And then essentially say I dont care if you hate me, look what I did for your loser city, ahahahah

Lebron could have done the whole thing in a more subtle fashion. It would have been the mature thing to do. That being said, he doesn't owe anything to Cleveland. If anything they owe him. He stayed for 7 years and made them the consistent favorite to win the championship each year. The hurt feelings will stay, but Lebron did what he felt was best for him. Loyalty means nothing to him, that's for sure.

I think he decided to go play with his friends rather than the best team, and if that makes him happy, then fine, but I think Chi would have been the better team. I dont know who ever compared Lebron to Jordan, Lebron has always been a passer rather than a scorer. I still see him playing point like Magic next season, and they still have a very solid player in Beasley in this line up. It does take a team to win it all, and they still have a lot of work to do. Its so suprising to see the real NBA fans come out of nowhere to bash Lebron .

If you feel the need to burn a jersey over this, it proves your just as :cuckoo: as all the soccer fans over seas. Dont get me wrong, I would be upset as well, but I think any highly competetive person would have done the same. You think Kobe would have stayed in LA if he didnt win anything in 7years? The Cavs made no attempt to improve the roster, so why stay? Would you rather win or be comfortable? I understand why ppl dont like him for having this "Decision" show thing, but dont hate cause he wants to win. He gave his all to Cle for 7 years.

Most of those fans probably bashed the Cavs before he arrived. True fans would be burning their Brad Daugherty jersey, hahahah

I'm gonna call him 'Saturday' from now on, 'cause he ain't got no class! :D

Anybody saw that video pitch the Cavs made for Lebron? Poor kid (near the end), he's probably sobbing as I write this entry. Poor Byron Scott...
You mean this one?

Damn, I feel bad for the City of Cleveland right now. :(

I'm on the road traveling from Virginia to The Midwest to attend a family member's wedding, and as a matter of coincidence, I stopped in Richfield, OH, a suburb of Cleveland. It's like a funeral here for Cleveland fans. The local newscasts are ripping Lebron, and Cavs owner Dan Gilbert just released a statement in which he guaranteed that Cleveland would win an NBA championship before Lebron does and called lebron a coward.

Apparently Dan Gilbert is a crack addict...

I just became a huge fan of Dan Gilbert. EPIC!

So much hate in here...

Still celebrating here in South Beach... :hi5:

The 3 take significant pay cuts, put team before egos and still get trashed. Kobyashi Maru, apparently.

EDIT: All you Kobe swingers apparently forgot his 2007 trade requests...

I don't hate him. Disappointed. Not cause he went to Miami. I was hoping he was coming to Chicago. Just that he needed a 1 hour special to announce it.

They ain't taking that much of a pay cut. 15.5 instead of 16.5. They ain't putting team first. :lol If they take like 9-10 million then maybe.

As far as that trade request. He was doing it cause he wanted LA to make moves to get better. He didn't have a 1 hour special doing it. Just told them if you ain't gonna try to get better trade me. That I can be ok with.

:horror.........this was ___in quick, Beasley traded to Minn for future draft picks. Now they need an additional player. I really do question whether this is gonna work or not.

QFT!! :lecture

LeBron couldv'e done the same thing, he just wanted the quick way out.

Not only that but just announce it in a statement like everyone else or do it like Bosh/Wade and a quick announcement on ESPN. At least those two options are a bit nicer.
