Who are the top 5 best franchises in NBA history?
1. Celtics
2. Lakers
3. Bulls
4. Spurs
5. Pistons
6. New York
7. 76'ers
100. Heat
?
I'll take the win tonight no matter who played or not. Especially when it's ny.
JStep- The spurs are a great franchise and pop is a great coach. However, I'm sorry Phil is the best coach of all time and I would not put then ahead of Chicago either as far as franchises go. Not knocking them at all I respect them but they probably come in no better than 4.
Bynum is looking like he's not going to see much playoff action. THat injury looks unhealthy for a surgicaly repaired knee.
Imho, if Bynum misses significant time... LAKERS ARE DONE. Stick a fork in him.
Gonna have TWO new representatives in the Finals this year boys. Heat and Thunder?
Well it was a good try, Knicks got a lot of heart to make a stand against the Bulls w/ no Amar'e.
Well it looks like Bulls will get HCA since Duncan, Manu, Parker and Dice sitting out tonights game vs. Lakers.
LOL @ some Lakers fans claiming these final Lakers game dont matter since Kobe will be playing tonight...
If the two teams are tied at the end of the season, the first two tiebreakers would be null as the season series is tied at one game apiece and the Spurs and Bulls have equal records against the opposite conference. That would mean that homecourt advantage would then be determined on the third tiebreaker — a random drawing.
Serious? I thought it went it down to something like the 5th tiebreaker which was intra-conference record...Oh well, I seriously doubt both will meet in the finals anyways, one of them will get bounced before it gets to that...
Pop has done more with less imo...
Pop = 2 hall of famers
Phil = 6 hall of famers
Phil is great at bringing a collection of talent together and having them play harmoniously. I wouldnt say he's top COACH though. There's a difference. There's actually quite a few coaches I would put ahead of Phil.
As far as franchises go, Spurs have been more successful over a longer period of time than the Bulls.
nope, bulls and thunder in the finals.
