I would argue the same for the Cavs/Bulls series a couple times too. Cavs rolled over to the Bulls, but I think between 92-94 had they made it past the Bulls they very well could have had a title. Especially the year the Bulls beat Portland. Cleveland would have run all over that Portland team.

Yeah, the Cavs teams of the early 90's were deadly.

Funny to think who would have titles if not for MJ lol.

Malone and Stockton would probably have one.

The Knicks would have at least one.

The Cavs.

Maybe the Supersonics?

Ah but the beauty of it all is I don't have to think of what would be different. MJ ripped their hearts out and I enjoyed every second of it. :rock

Ah, the sacrifices you had to make being a 10 year old picking a team as your own because they already kicked ass.

I started liking Chicago before they won their first title. 88-89 season to be exact cause I can remember what restaurant I was at when I noticed them playing and thought damn that guy is really good. Jordan is the reason I got into basketball and wanted to do something with it either playing or coaching. So as a seven year old the bulls just happened to be the closest team to me so I started following them. I make no apologies for liking them when I did as they went from being a successful franchise to one winning titles. I've also stuck by them as they've tried to get back on track.

Nothing wrong with that, that is essentially how I picked all my fave teams, they had a star at the time I enjoyed watching and stuck with them whether they won or not

I don't think there is but I catch a lot of grief for it. :lol Jordan is the reason why I like UNC so much. I got a basketball card not long after seeing that game and started following them. Same reason I'm a 49ers fan cause of Montana and Rice.

My favorite teams are: Bulls, 49ers, Chiefs, Royals, Stl Cards, and if I have to pick a hockey team I'd go with the Avs.

Holy ****, you're all over the damn place.
:panic:

At least you're a Cards fan. Best team in NL history.
:clap

Yeah, I am. :lol Forgot to add the University of Missouri. :lol

That they are! Always fun going to KC and watching them play. Don't get a chance to get to see them at home very often.

Edit: As far as my teams thats why even if Iron Lungs or Wakes teams win the NBA title this year thats fine and wonderful for them. I'm sure they'll be in here filling this thread up with a load of their posts and thats fine but I'll still be as excited as i am right now for my Bulls. We're getting back and I'm having a blast. I'll love them as much if they win the title or if they get swept in the NBA finals.

lol, I cant hate on Josh, Im the same way, all over the place. I actually grew up in So. Cal. but I could never connect with the Dodgers, Lakers, or Raiders (at the time)....

Fell in love with the Spurs because I saw David Robinson was from the Navy, as my dad was, and I thought that was unusual/cool so he & I bonded thru my imagination (the mind of a kid :lol).

Loved Dan Marino and, as a result the 'Fins, because he was a fiesty little sh&thead always yelling at his teammates because he wanted to win so bad. I never saw anyone that demonstrative and I was kinda the same way when I was little playing sports - who knew, right!

And A's. Fell in love with Rickey and the Bash Brothers - just BMF'ers and I thought they were so cool..I can recite by heart their entire lineups from 1987-1992 because I studied that team so hard.

But Im 110% loyal to them 'til death! Ill never abandon them no matter what, I couldnt imagine being a fan of anyone else no matter how bad we are!

Well said, Im a FIns fan because of Marino, and the Mark's brothers. Theyve had it bad since Marino hung em up, but I wont turn on them

Pens, Knicks, Mets and Fins, Ive lived to see two of the four win championships, and might have seen all four win if Stoyanavich hits that 40 something yarder against the chargers, and John Starks didnt suck genormous monkey nuts

I did enjoy watching the A's as a kid because I really liked Ricky and Big Mac. Two of my favorite players.

ya cheap shot.. beasley was running his mouth all game.. getting into it w. artest and odom from the start.. bynum sent him a message.. funny how when beasley got up he decided to get into barnes face and call him out for a fight, barnes didnt do anything.. what a tool..

again cheap shot, but if anyone in the league deserves one its that punk _____ beasley.. Im glad bynum laid his _____ ass out.. I enjoyed it and it was worth seeing bynum enforce for the 1st time in his career..

I also agree it was a cheap shot, but enjoyed seeing his ass layed out too for talking ____. :D

Back in the Showtime Era that was just a good hard foul. :lol
