NO one in the West worries me...

Pride before the fall personified right there...

As far as the Heat goes, I dont think anyone fears them really except the sub .500 teams because thats who they dominate. They are 7-7 vs. .500+ teams and 20-2 vs. sub .500. The Heat is feasting off a soft schedule and will continue to do so for the forseeable future. Frankly they are a circus act and laughing stock of the league. We heard the same type of BS in 2004 with the "Lakers Reloaded" garbage.

When the playoffs hit, they will not make it out of the East. I promise...

The only teams I fear right now are the Lakers, Celtics, Magic..thats it. With Caron out, stick a fork in Dallas.

LMAO. Wow. Yeah thanks for the promise. Keep believing that.

Anyone who thinks the first month this team played together means anything is ignorant about basketball. Why are the Celtics struggling right now? What about the Mavs? Injuries. Why did the heat struggle? Wade hadn't played a single game since last season until opening night at the celtics. Miller and Haslem were hurt. Team needed time to mesh and figure out how to play together. They abandoned the point guard option and had LBJ run the point with Bosh at the 5 for most of November... they were 9-8 in that month. Since? Chalmers/Aroyo play point and Bosh has moved back to his comfort spot at the 4... result? 18-1 since. It's no coincidence they are playing well. Better with each week. Good enough to have the NBA award Lebron AND dwade with eastern conf. co-players-of-the-month (on a night were the two combine for 80 points no less).

Keep believing no body FEARs the heat. Thats EXACTLY how they'd like it.

EDIT: Oh you're scared of the Laker team that lost the Heat by 16 and got trounced by the grizzlies last night? And The magic?!? LOLZ What are THEY going to do in the playoffs when Howard gets in foul trouble in the playoffs?! Play Hedo at the 5? They blew up their team mid-season for a reason... Desperation. And desperate moves rarely work. Your 'fears' tell me all I need to know about your basketball knowledge. You don't know anything...I promise.

lol I dont know anything because I think the Heat are frauds? Lol, ok we'll see in June who is right. Save my post and we'll see if the fairweather Heat "fans" will still be around to prove me wrong.

lol yet you only started to post here in your bragadocious tone since a whopping yesterday? Shows how much faith you had before they started righting the ship. Again we'll see if your bandwagon arse will be here in June. It wont be, I promise, pal. :wink1:

Great, just what we needed, more bandwagon heat fans. *roll eyes*

Heat don't have the size to make it past a Healthy Celtics Team. They "might" get past The Magic because The Magic aren't that great.

If you gauge the Lakers on their Christmas Day performance?.. :lol < LOL!!! You're a Noob..

Once the Heat are able to add a few more pieces in the coming seasons they'll win one.. Not yet.. Sure w/ a different coaching staff and a more solid roster in a couple years.. Lebron will run out the Lame duck head coach once they fail to make it to the finish line..

This Laker team can be scarey good when they get it together mentally. In a couple months people will be talking how unbeatable they are. People have short memories throughout a long drawn out season. 1st 1/2 of the season don't mean jack ____.. This Laker team is far better than the last 3 that went to the Finals.. No pride before fall here. San Antonio will win the West, but not make it out of the Western conference finals if they make it that far. Dallas? Please.. Utah?.. ermmm nah.. Denver?.. suuuure.. OKC, nah.. New Orleans?.. *snore* Phoenix?.. Sorry Nash....

Also Miami "fans" don't know ____ about basketball.

All this Heat talk reminds me of when had Mourning and company back in the 90's. Talked a lot of ____ just to get _____ slapped by Jordan and the Bulls.

The Heat will win 1-2 but they will have competition from teams like Dallas, Utah, OKC, and the Bulls. Thats all if the Lakers don't all stay together cause till they lose it they're still top dog.

I've heard some rumors of Chicago trying to add a really nice SG here soon. OJ Mayo is the name I've seen the most and depending on what we'd have to give up I'd be ok with that. He can shoot and play some D plus would play harder for a team like Chicago. I honestly believe Chicago is a team nobody will want a piece of come playoff time.

:lol:lol:lol

I like the way the Lakers play :wave

Lakers are playing like crap. And if Phil and Kobe continue their bickering, it's only going to get worse. Kobe's gotta learn to pass in the forth when he's having an off shooting night and his teammates are open. He's always had this problem since his rookie year, always stubborn and a ball hog. Yes, he will make gaming winning shots, but lately, he's been missing a lot of game winners. You live by the sword, and you die by the sword I guess. He's not the kobe he use to be. Trust your teammates kobe, like you did in Game 7. Don't force it, if it's not your night. Just learn to pass and trust, and you'll be alright. Nuff said.

:lol:lol:lol

I like the way the Lakers play :wave

Hopefully they'll came together again near the playoffs like they usually do. Final four prediction: Lakers\Spurs, Miami\Celtics
Final 2(Baring injuries):Lakers\Celtics
Champion:whoever ends up with home court advantage.

passing and Kobe doesn't belong in one sentence..j/k lol...Pau is sucking that's why the Lakers aren't so good atm

Pau will start to do better now that he can slide to the 4 w/ Bynum back.. I think going against the 5's was starting to take a toll on the semi-soft Euro..

Lakers learn alot from the Celtics.. We learned how to toughen up from our ass kicking compliments of them a few years ago, and from last year I think we presently learned how to lay low during the reg season, stay healthy, harvest doubt then to jump on the naysayers during the post season.

There's 5 teams in the league that have a chance IMO..

Lakers and Celtics the top 2 if healthy..

Heat and San Antonio I wouldnt look past as well as Orlando and Chicago who can take you down in a series if you're not on top of your game..

Most complete seasoned teams being Lakers and Celtics.. They're both bad ass and know better to gauge their sucess on a long boring season, I would put San Antonio in this group as well. It means more to teams like Orlando, Chi and Heat to win reg season games to boost confidence..

And as I mentioned before, Miami fans don't know jack ____ about basketball..

Agreed Bodie. I felt the same way during the Bulls run. I wanted to win regular season games but was more concerned that we had it all ready to roll in the playoffs. Now, with a younger group I want to see wins and improvements during the reg season going into the playoffs.

The really bad ass and confident lakers are playing MUCH worse than the Heat have this season pal. Heat have 1 loss by double digits. How are your boys doing in that category? Phil Jackson and Kobe are coming apart at the seams. Typical egotistical Laker fan thinks the world revolves around the lakers... but you cant tell that your window is shut. Kobe is OLD and stubborn. Pau is disinterested. Fisher? Artest? Senior citizens. NO PHIL JACKSON CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM HAS EVER LOST THREE GAMES IN A ROW BY DOUBLE DIGITS. You just got spanked AGAIN three games later. Everyone seems to think Champions are going shut-up the doubters... the reality is Champions are ALWAYS dethroned--sooner or later.

Feel free to test my basketball knowledge... or are you content with making ridiculous generalized accusations?

Like I said... keep underestimating the Heat.

You mean to tell me that you get to learn about basketball while riding on the bandwagon? That's pretty cool!

To quote Bodie, "Miami fans don't know **** about Basketball". :lecture

Pau hasn't been sucking. If you look at his shooting percentage, it's still consistant. He's just having to share time and court space with bynum, and adjusting to Bynum's presense in the middle- that's why his numbers are a little lower at the moment. The problem is kobe and Phil, and that trickles down to his relationship with teammates on the court and getting them envolved in the game. Right now Phil is trying to preach to kobe to get his teammates involved and stop hogging the ball, and kobe is just rebelling more and doing the exact opposite. It all boils down to team chemistry, and right now the lakers don't have it. There is no "I" in team, and there is no "I" in kobe for "win" either, because the lakers haven't been winning. Kobe's got to swallow his pride, and acknowlegde that he isn't the player he use to be. He's got to trust and get his teammates involved.

The only thing Popovich cares about is being healthy and ready for the playoffs. The fact that they are playing Duncan less than 30 minutes a night and 29-4 at this point is just icing. The Spurs still need to get better defensively, which they are showing signs of, and rely less on shooting 3's.

i'm just sick thanks to the mavs injury situation...dirk will be back soon and he will be fine, but losing caron for the year(maybe) is a huge blow...wonder if that makes cubes a little more interested in melo?
