____ you garnett you dirty little _____. youre an embarrassment to the nba...i hope you break your knee for good.

I agree. He's always been as classless as they've come. He acted that way in Minn. too when he was playing the Spurs but no one cared because he was in Minn. But ever since he went to Boston (and they're winning) he's upped his antics 10-fold. Good for Frye for saying something.

lol what happened?.. he really is a ____.. he didnt act like that when he was w/ minnesota..

those shoes are lame hes wearing to the laker game

He was probably frustrated from playing like ____ against the Suns last night.

During the game he stepped under Channing Frye as he shot 3s not once but TWICE. first one Frye actually landed on Garnett's foot and tweaked his ankle. Luckily he came back in later on but the second time Garnett stuck his left leg out and under Frye as he went up for the 3...simultaneously Garnett throws a little shot to Frye's nuts.

IF you saw the highlights you probably saw the rumble that soon followed that one.

Watching the Laker game, its nice to see Kobe taking over. I know its not in the best interest of the Lakers when he has to play like that. But I do love watching him destroy teams' D when he's ready to take over (except against the Spurs of course). It really is a treat when he plays like this since we dont get to see it as often anymore.

Im loving this Durant kid. Its nice to finally see some fire out of him...

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Kevin Durant drew a rare technical foul for jawing with Miami's Chris Bosh in the first quarter of their game Sunday. And he wasn't done talking.

When asked about it after the game, Durant had more harsh words for Bosh.

"I was talking to my teammate and he decided he wanted to put his 2 cents into it. I'm a quiet guy, a laid-back guy, but I'm not going to let nobody talk trash to me. He's on a good team now, so he thinks he can talk a little bit," Durant said.

"There's a lot of fake tough guys in this league and he's one of them," Durant added.

Durant says he was upset because Bosh got involved in his conversation with a teammate. Bosh says Durant was telling James Harden that next time, he should dunk on Bosh. Bosh had fouled Harden on the previous play to prevent a fast-break layup.

"I think he was telling Harden to dunk on me, or dunk the next one," Bosh said before giving a cleaned-up version of the exchange. "I expressed that, `No, he's not going to dunk that.' And he expressed, `Yes, he is.' It just kind of went back and forth."

Both Durant and Bosh were called for technical fouls. It was Bosh's second of the season and the first that will count against Durant, who also had one rescinded earlier this season.

"I'm no punk. I wasn't even talking to him, first off. He decided to butt in and I'm not going to just let that slide, especially in our house," Durant said. "Like I said, he's not one of those guys that I look at and say, `Oh, he has a rap for talking back to guys or always getting into it.'

"No, he's a nice guy. He's not one of those guys, so I'm not going to let that type of person say something to me like that," he added.

Durant said he considers Bosh "a cool dude" off the floor, but "once I step on the floor, all that stuff goes out the door."

"I don't think it was anything to get a tech over," Bosh said. "It was just talking. He stood his ground, and I respect that."

Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook got his third technical foul of the season for swinging his fist in the air after being whistled for a personal foul against Mario Chalmers in the final minute of the first half. Miami's Dwyane Wade picked up his sixth of the season in the fourth quarter while protesting after Serge Ibaka blocked his layup attempt.

"All of us, we're all so competitive, and when we get into circumstances in the fourth quarter, there's going to be tough calls on both sides," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.

Big game today for my heat!

First game for big 3 since 4rd qtr of Clippers game 3 weeks ago. 14-2 when big 3 go for 70+. THey're likely to rattle off another 8-9 in a row i predice (including a win @magic on the 3rd).

So I guess it's true that the only time Celtics "fans" come in this thread is when the Celts are in the conf or nba finals. What a joke.

What is needed to be said? They beat their historic rival yesterday, and that's great. Doing it in June would be even better.:)

They will indeed continue to feast off bad teams but their record vs .500+ teams is 9-12. Theyre also 2-8 in games decided by five or less and thats including their win over OKC.

The Heat are going to have to start winning against quality teams before anyone truly fears them.

KG IS an idiot. :slap

:exactly:
and overrated. I know he plays power forward now, but people were raving about that punk when he first came out, having double doubles and so forth as a small forward. Dude, if you're freakin 6'11" playing the "small" forward position, you better get a double double every night. Can you imagine if shaq or duncan were playing small forward, how big their stats would be? Garnett -Over rated chump.

They are 5-8 in games decided by 5 or less AND overtime (2 wins by 5+). Look it up. I also hardly think of OKC as bad.

No I was counting OT and actually they're 3-8 in games decided by 5 or less. My bad, I stand corrected. Bottom line is their record is still sh***y, lol.

Wins:
12/18 95-94 vs. was
1/28 88-87 vs. det
1/30 108-103 vs. okc

Losses:
11/5 No 96-93
11/9 Ut 116-114 ot
11/11 Bos 112-107
11/20 Mem 97-95
12/20 Dal 98-96
1/15 Chi 99-96
1/18 Atl 93-89 ot
1/27 Ny 93-88

PS, except for Mem, all those losses are against playoff teams. And Mem is only 1 game out from an 8th seed.

I saw the same stat today on ESPN they where 1-8 going into the game with OKC. Nobody in the East fears Miami. Except teams like the Cavs.

celtics all time record vs LA on his shoes

KG,
I am impressed you are using Bill Russell's accomplishments and posing them as you own. Here's an idea I will gladly lend to you with no charge. On the back of your shoe wear what you have done, and please feel free to use any of the following as I have spent a few minutes compiling records for use:
1-1, record of Celtics vs Lakers in NBA Finals with KG
3-3, record of Celtics with KG vs Lakers in regular season
10-9, record of Celtics with KG vs Lakers (playoffs included)
1-3, record of Garnett's teams (Minny and Boston) in playoff series vs Lakers
11-14, record of Garnett's teams vs. Lakers in playoffs
19-33, record of Garnett;s team vs Lakers in regular season
30-47, record of Garnett's teams vs Lakers (playoffs included)
It's great that the Celtics hold a slight edge on the Lakers, but don't go bragging about it like you had something to do with it. Bill Russell is a timeless legend that won 11 titles and dominated the NBA like no other player. KG will be remembered as a good player who played hard and along with the Timberwolves GM the reason why the NBA lockout occured in 1998.

Awesome post Bodie!! :rock

**** KG, they put a tampon on his head Sunday 'cause he's a _____!! :lol
