Not talking about the last two series. The two games the Lakers and Celts played this year, Kobe shot 32%. I'm sorry most teams in the West don't play D and allow you to score 108 points a game.
I think the Lakers were in the top 3 in ppg, but were 19th in ppg allowed. The Celts were #2 in ppg allowed (I have no problem recognizing the West was a much better conference though)
And only one team had a scoring difference of 10 points or better per game. I'll give you one guess who
And please don't think I have anything but respect for the Lakers. They have shown that they are at worst the 2nd worst team in the league this year and will be for quite a while with Bynum, Bryant, and Gasol. I'm just rooting for KG and Allen (my two favorite players) to finally get rings.
