Because they're most likely not going to bring back James and Lucas. That only leaves them Watson and Rose on the roster as of right now. Now, they bring back Watson and have Teague to go at the point until Rose gets back. Then the following season just Rose and Teague saving money by letting Watson go.

I think Watson is gone, especially if they want to sign Asik.

I was a fan of his, but that's two poor years in a row for him....he faded big time down the stretch this season, and did not live up to any expectations in the playoffs.

Sign Asik, sign another couple of bench players and call it a day for now (if Rose is truly ahead of schedule).

Nah, Watson will be back. If any bench guy is gone its brewer as he isn't a big help on offense. They can let him go and be able to bring back asik and their other players. Well, to be fair he was playing hurt with some kind of foot injury that he had surgery on recently so that I think explains that.

Shame on Ray Allen, joining the enemy. This is not an anti heat post, I just don't get anyone joining the team who beat them two years in a row.

I can't speak for him, but it's probably less about "if you can beat em join em" and more about winning another championship. Just so happens that in his mind the best team that gives him that opportunity is in Miami. I'm sure he respects the heat players too having seen what they can do up close.

Good for LeBron and the Heat. They need Ray Allen since we all know Lebron cant win the big one on his own...I say let 'em build a dream team at this point...

It was happening before he played hurt, though, and why Thibs wants him out.

Now the talk is they're letting all three walk (Brewer, Korver, Watson).
And they're going after Hinrich. :lol

I'd hate to see them lose corner and Watson. Hinrich off the bench might not be a bad thing.

KG agrees to 3-year deal with the Celtics. He will definitely get another chance at a title, with Jeff Green back from the injured list, and I also think the Celts made San Antonio-esque drafts.
Melo will get a chance to develop his defensive skills further, who better
to mentor him than a 1-time Def. Player of the Year (KG).

What's with th Bulls' non-activity aside from the Board talks? No reports
from the media. no agreements being made between RFAs & UFAs? They can't rely their franchise heavily on D-Rose, as we never know how healthy (or unhealthy) he can get. D-Rose needs a better complementary player who will take charge & win games
for Chicago when D-Rose is absent (Noah & Boozer don't qualify).

i couldn't even keep up with what the mavs were doing...

Deron Williams says he's either gonna sign with the Nets or the Mavs. No Lakers.

I'd like to know what player has ever won on his own? You can say a player has taken his team to the Finals on his own *cough* *cough* Lebron. And adding Allen makes them a dream team? :rotfl He's what, 35, had the lowest numbers of his career? They still have no center and no consistency at back up point, hardly close to a dream team. There have been Laker teams in the past with tons of great players, so you act like something close to this has never happened before.

The Bulls handcuffed themselves by signing Boozer for as much as they did. Unless they can buy him out, their stuck with him. I don't see any team that wants him in a trade, not for that much money. Nobody talking about Howard claiming he got blackmailed by Orlando to stay another year? :lol. He's back to his old tricks, crying and moaning to get to the Nets again. Why the hell did he pick up his option then? The season just ended...........

Dwight just has to deal with whatever team he gets dealt with. The Magic GM will think about the best trade FOR HIS TEAM, not the outgoing Dwight.
