Man Howard is killing me, I'll follow and pull for whatever team he ends up with but right now.....COME ON MAN!!!!

In a potential move that would cripple their aspirations of eventually acquiring Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, the Brooklyn Nets are engaged in talks with the Atlanta Hawks on a deal for All-Star swingman Joe Johnson, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. :slap

Joe Johnson used to be really good, but isn't he going downhill? What a waste of money.. Nets should go for Howard, make him a priority.

showing his immaturity if you ask me, I'd laugh at whatever team he goes to has a worse record then the magic.

Well Lebron was immature until this season, so it's possible for him to turn it around, the potential is still there for sure.

Johnson is way overrated, makes too much money. He's a solid B player.

A little premature don't ya think? I'm more curious to see where Nash goes, toronto offered him a deal, but if he wants to contend for a title, that's a bad fit. Blazers offered Hibbert a max deal, that would be a huge blow to the Pacers, they would take a huge step back from last year. He ain't worth max dollars though. Him and Aldridge would make a solid front court .

For as "immature" as LeBron was he NEVER demanded to be traded, challenged his contract legally or get his coached fired. Howard has been faaar more "villainous".

Yeah, Roy's skills are too overrated, and unworthy of max dollars. If a GM is to pay max for him, he should average Shaq-like numbers. He is averaging a measly 12ppg & less than 10rpg. I can see his skills, but after 1 All-Star selection, he is already max-contract worthy? :dunno What's up with the Blazers?!

Hibbert couldn't even dominate the Boshless heat, that's saying a lot considering how big he is. I agree, a solid player, nothing more right now.

2 year six million with Miami or 2the years at 12 million to stay in boston... hrrrmmmnnnn sorry miami

Yep, for a team that was close to breaking up the big 4, they sure are trying really hard to keep all of em. I don't see Allen leaving from that cash, nor do I see them getting any further then they did this year, not against a healthy heat or bulls team anyways

At least lebron made a decision. Dwight is annoying.

Lebron, the decision. Dwight, the indecision

I'd like to know what player has ever won on his own? You can say a player has taken his team to the Finals on his own *cough* *cough* Lebron. And adding Allen makes them a dream team? :rotfl He's what, 35, had the lowest numbers of his career? They still have no center and no consistency at back up point, hardly close to a dream team. There have been Laker teams in the past with tons of great players, so you act like something close to this has never happened before.
.

I dunno, probably the same number of all-time greats who had to jump ship, and coat tail another to build a dream team and win a ring, I'd reckon...:dunno

mavs are meeting with williams today...cuban is too busy filming shark tank to make an appearance at the meeting

With the Nets trading for Johnson that leaves little to no room to fit Howard in under the cap. :(

Got a sickening feeling Howard is gonna be traded to a team I really can't stand. :(

I wouldn't be surprised if the Nets got Johnson, just so it would make it a better package deal, to send him, Brooks and a draft pick to get Howard. If they don't do that, then Howard prolly goes to Dallas or LA. Dallas doesn't have anything to offer in trade though.

i am telling you right now that the mavs are going to end up with another wasted year...they gambled everything and they are going to lose

Boston is close to signing Jason Terry for 3 years, I guess they don't expect Allen to come back? :dunno. Allen is meeting with Clipps and Heat this week.

Well looks like Howard could still end up with the Nets. A new big 3 perhaps!?

there's plenty of big 3's in the league, but if they can pull it off, I think they would be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the east, depending on Roses health come playoff time, and if Chi picks up any good pieces.

Well Dirk and Cuban apparently had better things to do when Darren was meeting with the team, so they must not want him that bad, especially when they can still go after Nash.
