Great GM my azz, my dead grandmother's cat could be GM for the LakersIt's CRYSTAL CLEAR the league is corrupt. Every time the Lakers appear to widdle away and die, like every other natural life cycle of other sports franchises, a miracle conveniently happens and the Lakers are gifted another stud to keep them afloat for another 5 years. There's no other team in sports history that this happens to on a consistent basis.

From Wilt to D12 this has happened since pretty much day 1. The league is destroying itself from inside out. They my as well contract 90% of the league out there and just have 6 teams play for a title. It's ridiculous.

It's going to make itself an irrelevant sport like the NHL but for different reasons...

I guess I like the deal from the Nuggets perspective. AAA and Harrington were both bench players though Afflalo technically "started" a lot of games he rarely closed them or put up many minutes. Now we have a legit starting 2 guard with actual defense, though his offense has slipped in the last few years.

Ok let me recap...

We got a highly experienced, extremely skilled point guard, who is a master of pick and roll who made a freakin Marcin Gortat looked like a scoring leader , 2 times MVP, all time 5th assists leader in NBA history. The guy who consistently makes other players around him better. Could you imagine what it's gonna be like when he plays with one of the best scorer of all time and two 7 footers all stars in his team? And he is now wearing# 10 in Lakers uniform?

We got a guy who definitely can score, 2 times all star, 19+ PPG career average, who scored 51 points and beat the 2000 Lakers in double-overtime (Another young Lakers player also scored 51 games in that game btw). The guy who scored a career-high 51 points on 2 occasions in back to back games. And he is our bench now?

We got a very athletic young guy who is a master in rebounding and shot blocking, 3 times defensive player of the year (probably should have been 4 if he was not injured) and led his team to the finals only got beaten by the best franchise in NBA, arguably if healthy is the 2nd/3rd best player in the NBA. And he is now in Lakers uniform?

After all that we can still keep Pau??? Pau Gasol is perhaps your 4th best player in the team, are you kidding me?

Ahhh I have not even mentioned the guy with #24 on the back of his jersey, 5 time NBA champions, 2X NBA Finals MVP, an NBA MVP, 14X NBA all star, 10X All NBA first team, 9X NBA all defensive first team, 81 points man, the Black Mamba.

I am stoked guys, please tell me this is for real. The black mamba is going for his six baby
