I have it preordered at cornerstorecomics for 84.99 but right now I see them still selling preorders for 99.99.

Some websites start raising the price as their stock gets lower and lower. A great example is BBTS, where you can get a DX-12 for the low, low price of $339!

You shouldn't have to worry about your price going up.

Looks good so far. I can't wait till I get mine. I wonder how long it takes for them to ship it to comic stores. Oh I had a quick question. Is the price that I preordered Iron Man at the price I will pay or will they update the price before they charge me? I have it preordered at cornerstorecomics for 84.99 but right now I see them still selling preorders for 99.99.

Looks nice but I think for a couple hundred dollars more it's better to get the HT's version, because of the assortment of armor pieces and weapons. Seems like a better deal in the long run.

But if you can afford it, get both.

Then you can have a 1/6 AND a 1/4 IM on the shelf. And at around $100, it's like $500 cheaper than the Play Imaginative Super Alloy 1/4 IM's!

Yeah I can't afford the Hot Toys stuff. I would love to own some of their products but I can't really pay that much for a single figure, not yet at least. Luckily NECA's product line is affordable and the quality is good enough for me. I know its not perfect or doesn't come with all the bells and whistles that Hot Toys provides but it satisfies my desires for an Iron Man figure.

I popped over to the Marvel section to see if Neca was making a Thor figure. Shame there's no pics of one here.... He's the only one I'd be interested in.

Conversely, are there any 6" Avengers figures? I'd be up for the whole team if there were some. Marvel Legends seem to be comic versions of characters but something like those with movie likenesses would be awesome.

Sorry if this is common knowledge, I'm neither a Marvel comic fan nor a Marvel collector. But with the release of the Thor 2 trailer, I realized I need to own some version of Thor but not as costly as a HT version!

I'm pretty sure he comes with an extra pair of fists. I'm just hoping that the hand LED's are white and not red like we saw earlier.

That is a nice price on your auction. I can't afford it at the moment. This isn't a priority either for me. I've got other things on my wish list I'm saving for. I'm thinking a Thor down the road is all I'll need. Maybe with Thor 2 more options will become available?

Damn, that looks great! I think they nail a great paint job on him. Looks like I only need to make a Battle Damage one

Thor 2 in November so probably then.

Even though it's an Avengers Thor they're making.

I could've sworn they said its gonna be the Dark World version, that's why they're releasing it before the movie in November. Either way though, its gonna be a great figure.

You talk about couple of hundred dollars as if it was 5 bucks lol

this figure has the best bang for the buck, no questions about it. In my opinion you can buy the whole NECA 1/4 line for the same price of one single HT. Thus, NECA is the best option for me, but I envy who has the money to buy the HT figures.

Actually for right now,this is BEST 1/4 scale Ironman!What i mean by saying that, is all the other companies are still months(maybe years)away from completion so NECA will fulfill my 1/4 scale Avengers need for now!It looks GOOD but can't be sure until in hand PICS. start surfacing!Can't wait!^_^

Nothing HT can muster up in their house of delayed magic can touch what Neca is doing at 1/4 for $85.00.
