Not interested in making mine BD, but I am curious to know how you got the metallic sheen on him.

The toy was originally metallic, and the metallic drybrush made it more shiny I think.

That is AWESOME! I hope to pick a couple up at Frank & Sons some time in the next couple of weeks, and plan on trying some BD myself. I figure for the price, what the heck. I'm sure it won't look this nice but it's fun playing around.

Wow.....I dont ever remember having issues with NECA products with the other 1/4 scale figures I have gotten from them. What is the deal?

Uh....that's a typical NECA figure problem. These things aren't high end.

Also, you should NEVER buy NECA figures online. Ever.

looks like it can be fix by a touch up paint, sucks you got a bad one, this is unavoidable on a mass produce figures. Glad mine was good.

Also, you should NEVER buy NECA figures online. Ever.

i would agree with this but their 1/4 scale stuff isnt really abundantly sold at retail

In the past I have purchased Gandalf, Wilky Wonka, Terminator Endoskeleton, Jack Sparrow, the Crow, etc. I never had issues with any of those. This iron man is the first I have bought in a long time. He something changed with their QC and product quality?

from what I remember, they are considering it. I think the plan is to release it with a Tony Stark head.

there's a seller here starting to accept po for the bd for $105

dunno where he got this pic, he said the paint quality will be better than the regular one

I seen 2 Ironman figures from 2 different sellers at F&S today.
It was $90 and $150.
