So do I. I can't imagine the 8" version will do a very good job of the P2s intricate skin patterns and colouration. He kinda demands a 19" to be done right I think.

About you guys who are planning to keep the 2 heads as alternates and sell the extra bodies - OK but - who will buy a 19" headless predator? I can only imagine a customiser, someone who wants to experiment?

I'm thinking I can sell my ONE extra body to someone who needs the netting.. You never know, somthing could break on someone's.. Ooooo.. Extra Plasma Caster...

Apparently there are people. Customizers, sure. After all, it's a giant Predator body at half-price. Why not buy one to repaint it?
Either way, some people have shown interest. Coolness.

For me its close enough...I have the 1/4 maquette, if I want the utmost accuracy I look at that...haha.

How do you know it is the piece you will get?
I agree the masterpiece is a good one.
But the big "?" is about the in stock items.

I'm pretty sure the Neca figure will my personal favorite Predator toy/statue/etc. I'm not a big fan of the SS 1:1 Pred, if somebody (grrrr) hadn't thrown the box away, I'd sell mine on ebay. I'm really tempted to do a complete repaint.

On what? the 1:1 bust? Whats wrong with it?

I've been somewhat following the progress of this figure and now that the size, images and spec have been released I do want to go ahead and buy it. Does anyone know if the dreds are solid sculpted or soft plastic (i.e. moveable) ?

And also does this come with any accessories, not including the shoulder canon because thats a part of a Pred. Am talking about maybe a bloody spine ?

Wow. Every time a new pic is released you say the same thing. You're a broken record dude, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is bored to tears of reading the same thing from you? We get it, you don't think it'll live up to the hype. End of story. I'll probably get scorned for singling you out, but is there a way to mute/hide posts from individuals? Anybody know?
Glad I preordered all three, this looks flat out amazing (and they're only photos) -- seeing this in person is going to be very impressive!

Yeah, it's called the ignore feature. Go to your "User CP" at the top of the page. Click it, obviously, then on the left hand side of the next page there is a sidebar that has the link "edit Ignore List." Click that and enter the annoying user's name.

Soft rubber like the 7" ones s what they have said before. So don't expect Hot Toys AVP dreads.

That depends on whats most important to you. Super accuracy? Neca wins without question. Sorry I'm pretty sure thats what everyone here is championing - not necessarily the quality and diversity of materials etc.

HOT TOYS - apparently they don't make toys, NECA does? is that what I'm supposed to get out of that?

If you're seriously asking which figure looks more like the predator in the 1st movie, the NECA 18" is the clear winner. Though they are not really in the same category, the NECA is more a basically articulated statue, whereas the HOT TOYS is more of an expensive, highly articulated collectible doll with lots of accessories. They're both very cool, and I'm not knocking the HT, but if you think it looks more accurate than the NECA product we're discussing in this thread, then I'm gonna have to imply that it is you who may be smokin da craaack.
