hi, I am new here but, I have been reading the entire thread and reading everyone's opinions, following this topic for a while,
I am excited about this figure, I own the AVP sideshow chopper predator and the elder predator, and a couple of Neca Predators,

I went to BBTS site and even though they were sold out, today they had two (open mouth and masked) available, I click to preorder and was able to but, one of the predators say Sub, the other standard, so, one of them will arrive with damaged box?
How can bbts put sub if the figure is still being made? I mean, they wont get it for a couple of months...
I am sorry if this has been discussed about something else before, I am reading around and reading posts, I just wanted to ask in case someone knows why would they put it as Sub if is a preorder

well since its normal to expect damaged boxes during transit, they decide to put those up. Your essentially going to get a box that happens to be damaged, I don't get what you're confused about?

Yeah sorry, I just didn't know they expected damaged items beforehand, I have bought stuff online but never from bbts, and this is the first time that a preorder I make says that, but I get it,

Huh, I never gave any thought to that. I'm not too fussy about the boxes though.

looks right to me. you're probably just used to the HT figure which is way more off.

Don't worry, your figure/box will be fine. I ordered a collectors grade HD-1002 bruce lee Statue and it had a huge ding in the box ...and i ordered a Standard Creature from the Black Lagoon diorama and the box was minty fresh the logic is flawed and it makes no sense to me. I really don't know why they use that stupid Sub-Standard-Collector system.

No, but I agree the HT figure isn't accurate either.

i don't see anything wrong with the NECA figure other than the blades but that's not even a production pic. the final figure won't have them. what do you see that's off about it?

Half the time the charge isnt even worth it. I can honestly say only once did I get something from them that was kinda beat up. There pretty good about packing there boxes, I love BBTS, but its just another way for them to get a few more bucks from you. Just order it and you'll be fine.

the face on the Neca looks weird, the HT face is much more accurate. Other than that, the Neca version looks good.

I always felt like the HT head failed to capture the ferociousness of the P1 from the movie. I feel like Neca is doing a much better job at that.

The NECA figure looks squat and short. Especially in the midsection/torso. And the face doesn't look right.

It also needs a stronger jaw line IMO. The HT is still better on the Elder.
