We'll see how the water mod works on it. Just soak it in hot water and put it back on while soaking wet, and stretch it out and pose it while still wet and leave to dry.
It's also a good trick to use on your 1:6 figure's clothes. Minus the stretching, you can get their clothes into some better positions to match their poses and it'll dry nice and stiff like that. (Why do I see some perverted replies coming for this :lol) And to give them a good dingy look, use a dark coffee. I did it to all of my Jason Voorhees figures and they look great.

cool, I Am also curious about your Jason Figs, you dont have any pics?

Is interesting about the TRU being almost cheaper than the BBTS, I really wonder if TRU are going to keep their promise of free shipping,

I don't know, I already said that I only want 2,
but,
if They released pics of the actual figure, if it looks the same as the prototypes, I might be, might be persuaded to get all three we'll see...

Is the netting not attached differently on this figure as compared to how it's done on the Hot Toys Preds?

Care to post any pics of the coffee mods?

I won't go there with the perverted replies:lol

It looks to be a separate piece that's attached in some fashion. I don't have any problems with breaking figures down and reassembling them, so however it is attached I'll just reattach it after doing whatever mods on the netting. If I even go that route.

I can post pics of the coffee mod later. I'm extremely lazy and have a butt load of pics to download as it is, so just bear with me :lol

Do you plan to repaint it? What mods you doing then; laser and wrist computer?

Definitely LEDs in the wrist computer and cannon, and I don't know after that. I have a couple customs I'm doing now, but I get so busy with other stuff that they end up collecting dust most of the time.

Here's the coffee mod. The one on the left is modded, and the one on the right isn't. The modded one's pants lay more "naturally" and the clothes have a more overall dingy look, where-as the un-modded one has a dog-eared collar and the clothes don't lay very "naturally". Super easy to do and looks 100X better, IMO.

Soooo excited for this guy. Btw I'm new to the boards =)

Happy posting.

Whilst I'm at it, here's the blue LED I added to my P1 cannon, .....

.... and you can see here how I smoothed the armor out and put a nice metallic-silver base-coat on it. Still a ways to go, but it's coming along.

*Edit- I'm holding that all funny because I put a small button under the back of the cannon that has to stayed pressed in to light it up.

Now everyone is probably wondering why I'm posting Jason Voorhees and HT P1 pics on this thread :lol

Like I said, I have a few things going on now, and my personal life eats up so much of my time. Right now I have going on:

*Custom 1:6 Harry Warden from My Bloody Valentine- about 85% complete

*Took the head off my SSC FvJ Jason Voorhees and shaved/sanded the mask straps off to add real leather ones with buckles. Repainted the machete and added real wooden handle with leather wrap, and weathered the clothes more.Have to repaint the head yet.

*In addition to what you saw on my P1, I have the mask smoothed down with the silver base-coat on and I popped the aiming reticule out and re-shaped it into more of a movie-accurate triangular shape. I have the left shoulder armor smoothed with the base coat, as well. That's about it right now. A loooootttttt more I want to do to that.

I want to finish these things before moving on to anything else, so hopefully some crap I have going on now straightens out and I can get cracking on this stuff again before the 1/4 Pred comes out.

Pants of the figure on the left definitely look better than the one on the right.
I'm all for easy mods as I don't have a lot of free time.....although, you couldn't tell that with me always here in the forums. :lol
