You aren't missing anything here because it's true. I've got this guy in front of me now and he is the king of action figures for sure. I just wish P2 will get this treatment too.

So, um... how's the 1/4 P1 mask visor coming? I'm not really sweating it, since I've managed to get over the netting (which doesn't even look odd in the latest pics, to be honest), but a lot of people here are curious. If it hasn't been tweaked -- which is understandable, since production had to get underway sooner or later to meet the release date (looks like it already has begun) -- then is it at least easy to fix at home? Some light customizing work, perhaps? Just wondering.

Either way, super-pumped for this figure and might I add, those Lost Hunters look ace. Have you seen what this new factory can do for the 7" line, by any chance?

That's what she said. :chug

:wink1:

If you just said, sorry but the visor issue hasn't been fixed, we'd all appreciate that alot.

What are the chances P2 will happen?

Well, hate to say it guys....
That visor isn't fixed.

tankman is obviously picking and choosing which posts to respond to.

If it were fixed that would be amazing news; no reason to hide that bit of information as it would generate a lot of positive buzz about the figure. Much more positive than, "I've got this guy in front of me now and he is the king of action figures for sure."

But, with all due respect, it is a great figure from what we've seen and I can only hope fixing the visor (if even possible) isn't difficult.

I'm forced to agree with that logic. He probably has been made to regret saying he'd get on them to fix it since it was apparently too late. Oh well.

True. It would take but 5 seconds to post "yes it's fixed" or "no it's not".

Even if he said, I can't say yes or no, atleast it would be acknowledging our question.

Oh well...

Just release the thing already.:D:rock

We've got two here and one is good to go and one has the gap. I'm hoping the gap will not be there. Fingers crossed most of them will be the fixed one. I did fix one for myself and it was an easy fix but still I rather it be right in the first place. The paint looks great.

Thanks for the heads up.

When you say most of them, does that mean that the visor was adjusted after the production had started?

the alien wasn't that bad. it's actually the A3 dog without the dome. i bet it would've looked good with the dome and a repaint. what is the mask you used from? kinda looks like the medicom 2pack one.

I disagree with Alien sculpt. It's pretty bad. No amount a paint would make it look good.

The helmet is from one of my model kits which I can't remember which one. Other than putting the intial coat on, I then modded the lenses a bit but I never did finish it completely.

Can you post some pics showing how you fixed the gap?
How hard was it to separate the pieces and the best way to go about fixing it in case you receive the gap version

Man.... should I send you my address so you can send me one:) I can't wait to paint one up.... LOL... even though I have limited my collection, this is the ONLY piece I will have all three.... just brings back memories of my dad renting a rated r movie for his 7 year old son..haha...

I am REALLY glad you addressed that so I don't have to read 37 new posts about it every time I check this thread..lol..

that sucks. so, if we ordered these online it's a crapshoot? i wasn't all that worried about the paint apps, but the ____ed up mask is an issue that can't be fixed with a repaint.

I hope it hasn't just been said so we go on a mad search trying to hunt down the perfect ones when in fact they are all the same but he didnt want to lose face and people are meant to think they got unlucky and NECA did have time to fix the problem.

It also means its a lottery if its the case that when people order from web stores they dont know which mask they are getting.

It makes the masked version a must for ebay and in-hand purchasing so you actually know what your getting.

Fortunately i planned on using ebay anyway.

I'm not going to order the masked version online. I'd rather go to my store and see what I'm getting first hand. There may be different ones dotted around the place.
