But 19" is the only scale where the paint on the head has any chance whatsoever of being done right. Its going to be awful at 8". I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.

19 inch will be way better than 8inch I know but still that paint job is really tough I think to get it to look like the movie. The 8 inch will be fine for what it is but these 19inch figures are just so much cooler I think. You can really see just how much effort went into the sculpting at the larger scale.

l don't believe this for a second. like seriously. if a company makes anything predator that is decent it will sell. end of story. so dont tell me you could make a wicked 18 inch P2 and not many will buy it, or sideshow making a p2 bust, and not many will buy it. Sideshow and Hot Toys have made figures from the Horrible AVP movies, and those are also bad predator designs and they still sold like hot cakes. Sideshow has already said they have plans soon for P2 stuff. don't tell me a pred fan won't buy p2 stuff. and there are ALOT of predator colectors.

this is for you Tankman. make a P2 18 inch paint it to the best of your abilities, and don't cheap out on a few thngs that have been mentioned about your P1 and sell him for $99.99. trust me he will sell. anyone who has your P1 will want the P2 right next to him.

I'll bet you SS will tell you they sell more P1 than P2 stuff. A lot of people out there hate P2 as a movie and I bet some P1 TRU purchases would be by some that would see it and go wow the Predator the original I want it . It will sell better than P2 I think. How many guys on here would get all 3 P1 but would those same guy get all 3 P2 figures? Some would but not as many I think. It would sell just fine but it won't do as well as P1. P1 is the only classic Predator movie if you take away hard core fans. I love P2 and want the figure almost as much as the P1 believe me. I'm hoping Randy can work his magic again and make it happen. I'm looking forward to seeing what SS will do with P2. They seem to be more focused on the Wolf it seems to me.

Im modding the bio to have a led and to fit the unmasked version.its in the early stages now but its looking promising.
Once im done and have the molds finished i will be offering them.

So it is possible to make a bio that will fit the closed mouth pred, cool! I'm definitely interested bro!

Maybe NECA should live dangerously and grow some balls to make a P2. Just because other companies don't give him any love doesn't mean you guys can't. Fans are crying out for P2 products. Start the P2 revolution.

the reason l think there is a stigma that P2 stuff doesnt sell well is because there really hasn't ever been much P2 stuff. the stuff that Sidshow has done of P2 just wasn't very good stuff to begin with. that is why l think there hasn't been a really good P2 representation anywhere. if a company did one l think they would sell very well. you are right though P1 is the boss and the most wanted because it is the original. in the end if anyone makes a good predator representation people will buy. so hope in time you can convince your boss. l think you guys should take a risk and get on it. in the end it's not a risk because it will sell, that l know. if in time though he still says no, then sorry but l have to say it, he is a dumb ass.

I think an open mouth version would sell fast, I mean, I know, I know the mask is great and everything, but, If that was what it takes, I would buy it,

I have to say I am in love with my 3 preds, they are amazing, everytime I look at them Is like getting reminded of the movie right away, is like the feeling you get when you see a pic of the movie, but better, the sculpt is just incredible

anyway, I understand that P2 would be a risk, and you are right, I wouldn't buy all 3, that is true, I would probably buy 1 or 2,
but I think What if they made one version? I guess im just trying to keep the dream alive....

I'm hoping like all the other fans it will happen. The sculpt is great and it deserves this larger scale. As of now Randy told me no but a year ago he said no to the original. I'm hoping I'll get a big surprise one day and will be told we're making it. I'd want this to happen even more than doing a new queen Alien and Aliens is my all time favorite movie and it's time the McFarlane queen needs to move aside.
These Predators just make for the best action figures it seems to me and P2 would look killer at 19 inches.

Yeah, I dunno if it was accurate or not but it was well done, one of the only things I can find positive about that figure now. Sadly paintjobs have just gone downhill on figures of that scale.
