Here is my Video on the Masked Version. :rock

Awesome video mate, always enjoy them. That's just made me even more excited about getting this figure now & it's the Masked version which I bought, the only problem I have is that your now made me want the OM Pred. I always try my hardest to stick with 1/6 Figures but a 1/4 P1, I can't turn that down.

Finally my one has been sent from Forbidden Planet, so any day now I can see this ugly ____er in hand ;) but seriously really looking forward to seeing this, with all the good reviews this figure has been getting & with some even saying that this is better than the HT P1, I just find it hard to belive, it only cost me £74 surly it can't be that good?? :)

Glad to see it being shipped off. I got an email on Tuesday, from ParcelForce, saying its going to be sent off on Wednesday and it arrived today.

Mini Review:
When I got home I opened the bad boy up and the first thing that hit me was the face (it looked awesome !), then the size cause this thing really is massive (the large scale and detailing makes it look more expensive then it is), then you feel the weight and its suprisingly heavy, mainly from the thighs. Once I got it out and put the shoudler canon this thing looked fantastic. NECA truly captured the presence of this thing from film to figure, proportions are right so it adds to the realism and makes it look less of a toy and more of a statue.

Nitpicks:

The mouth area (I have the opened mouth ver) isn't the best part of the figure, paint app wise. I will prob send it off to get redone when I can afford it.

The teeth of the mandibles have large spots of darker brown paint so its a blended colour and not one flat colour, but it shouldnt be a large spot of colour so thats another problem.

I don't understand why the skulls weren't put on a string. Instead the mid part of the string is attached to moulded skulls with a moulded string effect, so in other worlds the string doesn't go through each skull but ends on either side of the skulls. Thats not much of a problem with me but mine has just snapped off and all I was doing was posing, so I will have to cut off fake plastic string and properly re-string it.

The articulation is a bit stiff. I don't know if that loosens up after moving it about more but I'd rather have it stiff so the figure doesnt collapse on itself. I am scared to move it because i've heard about netting ripping off and I really don't want to break anything. I know the shoulder canon will be the next thing to go (they could have made it much more secure).

Apart from that I really am happy with this figure. Don't be put off by the nitpicks or anyone elses nitpicks as they are at the end of the day only nitpicks. This figure is well worth the £70.00 I paid for and it stands tall and proud among the other Hot Toy figures.

P.S. Anyone with a Detlof, you will have to sacrifice 2 shelf spaces for this, its a shame but the space given makes it look more special !!!

EDIT: I will be getting some fake leaves and shrubs for this figure as a background because it looks boring at the moment. Does anyone know where to get some good fake trees/leaves/bushes from the UK !?

Uzumaki, thanks for the Mini Review & Nippicks, about the netting ripping, that is my only worry about this figure, I've heard a few people say about that now, so I'm definitely going to be extra careful about that when posing. I'm planning on displaying him on top of my Detolf depending on how sturdy he is that is.

Yeah, so far the nettings alright. It seems tight and is glued near the ball joint and all looks solid. He's strudy enough to stand on its own, if you slightly bend both of the legs back so hes not got straight legs then its all good, otherwise he leans and falls flat forward. Am looking at it right now and it really does look awesome. I just looked on ebay for artificial leaves and plants and will be defo doing some sort of leaf/plant arrangement behind him !!! I will go to sleep now and dream of the Pred coming alive to kill me like Chucky lol !

I hear you. I regret not ordering the masked Predator when he was in stock.:slap

Yeah I'm going to have a look at the end of the month when I'm payed to hopefully pick one up but I'm guessing there prices have risen alot from when I bought mine on PO by what I can gather everywhere had sold out. Change of subject slightly but I really want a P2 from Neca now as well, I hope that's in there pipe line, the P1 has obviously sold well so I hope that happens.

Updated pics with wires. If you want one place your order on the thread on which one you want so it doesnt get lost in my box. thanks
