How many guys on here would get all 3 P1 but would those same guy get all 3 P2 figures? Some would but not as many I think.

With P1 There is not really any difference in the body between masked and un masked apart from taking off the back pack which is what has held me off from buying another Predator 19". But with P2 he has more distinct looks throughout the movie. Include a extendable combi stick with the Masked version. And the unmasked versions (there doesnt even need to be 2 unmasked variants) give an amputated left arm.

They would look like 2 totally different figures and all thats been done is manufacture an alt arm. Sure it wouldnt be as easy to replicate is 1,500 bodies the same with alt heads but consider the alternate arm and combi stick a trade off for the P1's removable backpack and clenched right fist

That would be a perfect scenario for me atleast. It doesnt even need to have battle damaged paint all over it because thoes of us that are fussy about it will do it ourselves.

In all honesty i am a bigger P1 movie and design fan but there likely hood of me buying P2 variants is more because of the possibilities that can be done with it.

I'll bet you SS will tell you they sell more P1 than P2 stuff. A lot of people out there hate P2 as a movie and I bet some P1 TRU purchases would be by some that would see it and go wow the Predator the original I want it . It will sell better than P2 I think. ^what he said. also, i don't see P1 or P2 being "better" than the other really. i'm more of a Stan Winston fan than a Predator fan and i'll buy anything he's worked on. the more the merrier. if SSC does it before NECA, i'm getting it.

Awesome vid man and I agree with you about the NECA haters. I really think there's only a few complainers out there but complainers are always the loudest. Also glad that 'sniffing the newly opened figure' was not some wierd thing only I did!!

Finally my one has been sent from Forbidden Planet, so any day now I can see this ugly ____er in hand but seriously really looking forward to seeing this, with all the good reviews this figure has been getting & with some even saying that this is better than the HT P1, I just find it hard to belive, it only cost me £74 surly it can't be that good??

Ive received the closed mouth pred from FB, looks really cool, im still waiting on my masked one being dispatched, i know its now out of stock so not sure if im going to get it or not, i did place the order whilst it was still in stock

HT Pred = Cool looking Pred.

NECA's 19" Pred = Cool looking Pred that looks as if you were watching the movie and it just jumped out of the freakin' screen.
