NECA 1/4 scale predator

New to NECA version and was wondering if you order the masked version, then the mask wont come off? Also does it come with LED lights?

Thats a negative on both counts. NECAs priority is just making a solid, as accurate as possible sculpt. There isn't much in the way of 'things it can do'.

The helmet is not removable and there are no electronic features. It is practically identical to the 7" version.

Well i wouldnt go that far, its a better sculpt and paint app , if the paint app was the same it would be terrible

They were working on improving it but i think they ran out of time before the release.

Ah that is a shame... do people sell custom netting ? The netting is really my biggest issue with these aside from that for the money and what they are i quite dig them.

A small few have managed to find more relaistic looking netting. Their customs are buried deep in this thread somewhere. Problem is that to the average figure collector (like me for example); taking the figure apart and putting the netting back on under the armour looks a tricky process.

And while the netting might not be the best, in all seriousness, most of us aren't "playing" with these, we're simply posing them and admiring them on a shelf.

That said, I do like the most durable figure possible...

I have tried weeks looking for one, but still to this day, I haven't found it.
Those people who got theirs doesn't want to share where they took it from, they keep saying they found it on a nearby beach or pond or some s#!t like that.

Anyways, their netting is definitely not a big deal for me, the sculpt itself is already your money's worth, it's huge! it's mean! it's awesome!

The netting I bought is 3/8" and looks fairly accurate. I've been sending out extra netting netting to forum members, but below is a link for it cheap. One pack has enough netting enough for at least 10 1/4 predators.

I find, that the best choice of netting you will ever find is if you go grocery shopping. All different kinds of fruit, all different kinds of vedge come in all kinds of different coloured and sized square netting. I was just out shopping before and was looking at the fruit in the netted bags thinking that i could of use it if i still had my 1:4 Predator.

Just keep an eye out next time you are shopping or something for the fruit and vedge section.

You can eat the fruit whilst you cut the nets to fit!

I got my netting at my local pet store (Pets at home) I thought i already mentioned?? I honestly havent a clue if you folks in the US have that store around.
