Just saw on the Neca twitter feed that Kyle is working on the Queen at the cancer care facility alongside his brother. That’s dedication for ya! I’m the big brother in my family I can’t imagine how rough that must be. All the best to those guys.

Well they reckon she will have summer release date so we should get her or a pre order at least this year. They are also hoping to have something to show at toy fair which could explain why Kyle is working from the care center. Completely understandable if she isn’t ready in time and knowing those guys we might get a teaser or something if she isn’t.

Sad news about Kyle's brother.
That must be really tough.

It's rough. Lost my dad to stomach cancer and my stepdad is currently fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer. :(

God bless the Windrix family.

I wonder does the box for the Windrix figure explain anything about this 'character' and why its been made. I know why but I'm just picturing casual buyer reactions. 'Huh?'

That's what I said earlier tonight when I saw him...huh? I'm still looking for the answer...

I think the old one looks better. But I'm not sure which is more screen accurate...

The new one...

The base of the head is the same, resculpted parts of the mouth and dome...repainted details underneath dome, added sculpted details too I think.

The feet, spine, back spike ( head rest as some call it), all resculpted.

The changes were minimal but it made a big difference.

The mold seems to have shrunk, though...lost detail, so I don't know what happened there...second gen mold?...unless it's just the difference between metallic paint job vs dry brushing ?

Received my Alien fig yesterday. The right leg is bent. Had trouble bending the knee section.

So either a blow drier or boiled water for a few seconds should do the trick?

NECA's hinted on twitter of a chest bursting figure (Kane, anyone?) to be debuted at Toy Fair next month

Yup, either way; heat is the key. The old freezer trick is certain destruction. Cold = snappage
