I'm still a bit in shock NECA got the license. I mean, SW wouldn't even let her image be used on a game card or tiny cardboard standee for the Aliens board game from Leading Edge years ago (they just used her silhouette)

Well, looks like 2014 is going to require I make my own Marine fun. Oh well. :dunno :wink1: Good for Ripley though. I'll be glad to have her in her AlienS glory!

In any case, I've been 'practicing' the racal headsets.

Played around with different ideas; sculpting from scratch, using plastic parts glued in place, and even a McFarlane transplant. Many heads to practice on so I did a lil something different for each. I know my hair re-paint is the weak spot, but I am not unhappy with how the racals turned out.

(My "Final Battle in Ops" Hicks with my version of Windrix)

The squad as they wait for me to finish Apone and Frost (and a properly produced Ripley, apparently!)

Here's one little thing NECA can do to help with some of the QC issues on their figures:

GET RID OF THE DAMN TWISTY TIES!

Seriously, they put so many unnecessary twisty ties on the figures that they end up warping the limbs.
One around the waste is more than enough.

They could have at least gotten the eyes correct. Ain't no way she's killing aliens aiming in all sorts of directions.

added some extra emphasis.

Those trading cards are cool. I've never seen them before.
Glad you like 'em.

Maybe they'll reveal someone at SDCC alongside Ripley...

Nice work. What materials did you use for the scratch-builds?

Groovy. I may have to steal that webbing layout sometime...

As great as this news is I'll be so disappointed if we never get a set of these three...

Some of the best visuals from the movie were these three in their space suits.

Alien, no contest. Flightsuit and crop top with panties.

Agreed! flight suit or space suit for me. But I do fall into the Fanatic that will buy all category :lol

If John Hurt keeps refusing to let his likeness be used then no I doubt we will see that Dio.

Now for the love of god get the alien line into a decent factory please NECA. And switch to whatever method of skin recreation you made Dutch with. Then rerelease Hicks and Hudson that way too to get consistency across the entire line. Don't get Sigourney Weaver's likeness at long last and waste it on flimsy, poorly painted, scratchable plastic. Many of my marines so far came pre-scratched out of the box.

Youre right, I hope Neca make this !
