Out of curiousity, is there any version of any character from Aliens whom no one here would buy were NECA to make it?

I wouldn't buy any humans from any film that came after aliens. .. maybe a bald Ripley, but that's it.

I would buy any alien creature from any film if neca made it just because the creature design is so cool.

Picked up 3 more Dog Aliens today, so I went ahead and opened one of them. The plastic is slightly better than series 2, but I'm not sure why they are using this rubbery plastic on the Xeno's now. The articulation is great, and I especially like the double-jointed neck articulation. It can be put in a lot of good poses and the stand is just icing on the cake.

I really think they should make a boxed set 3-pack with the '79 Alien, Warrior Alien and Dog Alien.

Sorry, I can't seem to find my camera right now. But to describe it, there is a second neck joint at the base of the neck where the neck meets the chest. It's a hinge joint that allows you to tilt the neck and head back even farther (the only downside is the shoulder blades block you from pushing it really far back)

But yeah, I'm not sure why no reviews have shown it off. It's very well hidden, but you can tell it will move by looking at the sculpt.

Also, I found this, a red tinted single pack Warrior Alien. They are only available from china from what I can see. I wonder if they are well done knock-offs, the packaging looks pretty good. Well I managed to pick up the dog Alien, Kane & the Queen for a shop in town yesterday. They were a fair bit more expensive than buying online, but with this being NECA it's always best to buy from a shop as you can (try to) examine them for any defects.

First up the Alien 3 version. And it's a bit of a home run. The sculpt is fantastic, all the joints work apart from the left wrist! The jaw is pretty straight, the only real negative is there's a slight glue blemish on the right hand side of the dome, which you couldn't see because of way the figures packaged. Overall I'm very pleased though.

The queen is once again a fantastic sculpt. Unfortunately some of the joints are stuck - on the left wrist, the left arm bend's also stuck, and the arm bend in the little forearms and their wrists are stuck too. Also the teeth on the small inner jaw are wonky, I haven't attempted to place the spines as yet. And I haven't even looked at the extended tongue. Overall it's good, but for the price it could be better.

Kane, for want of sounding like a stuck record, is another fantastic sculpt. The paint work is a bit messy though and none of the joints work. Still two out of three 'aint bad I guess.

But when you consider they cost me the equivalent of $233.32 you's expect them to be perfect, well I would anyway.

Is it just mine or are there others out there with loose joints on the Queen's crown and lower neck?
Also is she meant to be at a angle? I mean if you look at her straight on her upper body is slightly turned and not completly straight. So her smaller arms are towards her left hand side instead of middle. I can provide pic if people dont understand lol

I had loose joints all over the figure, mostly the legs.

Yes, the figure is sculpted at an angle, you can really notice it from the back view.

Wonder why they done that. My only gripe is the spikes. lol
Otherwise amazing figure. My blue Xeno Warrior fell and his leg broke so may need to pick another one up.

I really wish NECA had tightened up the joints and installed a ratcheting system in the hips. Have paint apps and warping been a problem?

I must of got lucky because the joints on my queen are nice and tight. I don’t have any issues with paint or warping from the recent figures. (I didn’t get Bishop) My Dog does have a spot of glue on the underside of his dome but factory defects will always be an issue. Overall this wave seems pretty solid.

I hope Neca will make the dog and the warrior in 1/4 scale. Windryx have made a perfect sculpts in this aliens. Can we sign a petition?

no, neca's too cheap to include an egg, they will be sold latter in an egg pack .like the trophy skull pack.
