NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Dreading the kenner stuff myself. As a kid I collected those because I wanted to play Aliens, but I'd have taken movie-based figures over that made-up stuff any day of the week. I'm content to leave the past in the past on this one.

Well, as a kid (in Junior High, lol) I can't say I ever had one of those figures break right out of the packaging... *cough* NECA *cough*

Still awesome. These, the original Jurassic Park figures, and Batman. Kenner was on a roll, I tell you.

...after reading all those comments of NECA Xenos breaking right out of the package I was pretty scared getting into the line. 11 figures in, it hasn't happened yet. Who knows, maybe I'm lucky

You that have more experience than me...is there any reason to not have more pictures or information about the big chap 1/4? I can't understand that if this guy should be in stores in september, why we won't have more information about it.
Is that normal when a new action figure has to come out?is my first time buying something about alien. I have been looking for a while for the best option (quality-prize) and after seeing the alien queen fron Neca, I decided to buy the big chap from neca too.
I checked neca's site but no more information there...
After the big chap and if everything was fine with it, I will go for the warrior 1/4. Any idea when the warrior will be announced? I mean, when they usually announce a new figure? They have already shown a picture from it

Yeah, usually all of the pics and info that is out right now is all that will be out until the figure is released. Check websites like Toyark.com, they usually get samples from NECA and will post a gallery of pics around the time the figure is due to be released.

As far as the 1/4th Warrior alien is concerned, they are going to release it sometime next year for the "Aliens" film 30th anniversary. More than likely it will be officially announced and shown at toyfair in February. Hope that helps!

It's interesting that they haven't done any sort of fancy gallery photoshoot like with other figures. Even on NECA's website, the product page for the 1/4 Big Chap is still using the images of the unpainted prototype next to the ruler. Seems kind of unprofessional if the piece is really that close to being released. Maybe they're making tweaks?

I do think so...I can't understand why we haven't yet some pictures showing the final job with the big chap unless they are doing some changes with the lips for example...
In twitter neca says that we will get more info or pictures soon...
October seems a better date than september, yes.

Neca asked people last Friday if they wanted to see Q scale pics and people chose later series pics so we got the alien 3 sparkler. At sdcc it said august and Randy says September.
