Yea, I would want 2 of each of Vas & Drake(when they make him) so the thought of either one of them being an exclusive that I may miss out on or only be able to get one of has me worried a little. I will say that Neca has made exclusives available on Neca Ebay so at least you can get one without the scalper prices if you miss them the 1st time around. The Wal Mart big chap is a perfect example and it's still available through their e bay store but I only saw 1 in the actual store during my couple month search for it.

I would be pissed if Vasquez or Drake are the exclusive! We all want (need) those 2 in our arsenal!

I wasn't able to see Vasquez or Drake in the link above. Can't find the pics anywhere either. Is the gif the actual scene of Vasquez and Drake from the movie, or from the figures?
The Loot Crate tweet was re-tweeted on Neca's twitter feed and the picture is from the movie. Could be nothing but with Neca saying that they are making Vasquez and with the tweet below regarding the release & distribution of Vas & newt it's a concern for me. Earlier in the month I was sure Neca stated July/August for both Newt & Vas but their recent tweet acts like that never said that. The good news is we will find out in a week or less what that exclusive is - I'm hoping its a warrior repaint I can pass on since I don't want to buy a $55 package just for the figure. I'm sure that's a good deal but I don't need all the other stuff in the package.

Exactly and their quantity is limited(who know how many they'll get) so either way its possible some of us may miss out on whatever the figure is unless Neca sells it through their E bay store later or re-releases it in a future wave.
One thing is for sure I am very excited to see what is revealed on 4/26 and buy the Kenner Ripley, I feel like a kid again waiting for the next star wars wave to be released way back in the day. Next week will rock between Alien day, the NFL draft, MLB baseball and NBA playoffs - woo hoo!!!!

Ya know... I could actually see Newt being in the crate. Given that she is a smaller figure, they may not logistically be able to release as a slot in a case with other figures at a standard price point. And they stated many times that she was not a figure they thought would do well at retail- Having her made as an exclusive through a loot crate box solves both those problems.

I'm calling it: a Warrior repaint in some gaudy color scheme. They say the 30th anniversary is the ' diamond anniversary', so maybe the warrior will be crystal clear. I wouldn't rule out a metallic gold either.
Def won't be something "good" because that would be lost sales. Maybe they'll throw in a matching egg as a 'thanks for investing in an 8th warrior repaint'

I somehow don't think it'll be a straight up repaint. It. Would still have to be unique enough to justify the price of the crate but at the same time be a good incentive for fans to preorder it sight unseen.
I'm guessing it either has to be a lesser known or wanted marine from Aliens or an accessory pack.
Maybe a final battle Hicks with headset will be the loot crate exclusive? If they use the 2 pack version it would be a main figure that would be easy for Neca to kick out quickly. I would like to have a version of that hicks but not sure I'd buy the crate just to get him.
Not just a repaint... A 'gaudy' repaint!
Their descriptions says, "a fearsome figure that really stands out".
Neither lesser known marines, accessories, nor a 'new' Hicks fit that criteria. A brightly colored (like metallic gold) warrior with 30th anniversary logos all over the place? That checks both boxes.
I'd LOVE to be wrong and get something truly 'new', but my hopes are not high.

I have to agree with bigbisont. I am 99% sure it's going to be a xeno, with that "fearsome figure" description. For an anniversary lootcrate, it makes the most sense to release a figure of an iconic character, and nothing says ALIENS like an Alien. The only human I could see them including would be Ripley, but I doubt it.
Also, as terrible as a solid gold repaint sounds, the magpie in me really likes that idea.
