What, that they will erase 3 and 4 in the end lol ? Idk what to think at all really but at least for me the first three Alien films are canon. 4 I can take it or leave it depending on how I feel about it while I watch it.

Really Alien 1-3 are Ripleys story. If the pretend that 3 doesn't exist then they are making a bad decision. At least make 2.5 and use minor motion capture to make Ripley 35. And then maybe they can explain how the egg got on the salaco. I noticed when watching Alien 3 that Clemmons asks Ripley how long were you in hyper sleep ? And she just ignores the question. Plus the sleeping capsules are not the same ones from ALIENS , they are the ones from Alien. So maybe just maybe we will get a fill in. Then I will be in full support.

Funny I don't remember that but I can see where you are going with it. You mean to think that there are now two versions of the characters, the ones that crashed on Fury 161 and then ones that made the trip home ? Like a time loop ?

Over on twitter as well Randy says that the Alien 3 creature pack has not been scrapped and still on the way, which I am really happy about. Also says that although they are moving away from 3 with waves from Kenner, Resurrection and even Covenant 
that 3 will not be ignored completely. Guess this means we can expect characters from 3 to be sprinkled in other waves down the line. So still hope for Clemens, Dillon and Bishop 2

No that there is a story before Alien 3. That leads into 3. No time lines lol. Sounds terrible. With the technology today I think they could make Sigourney look young. At least young enough to shoe horn in a 2.5 film.
An Alien 5 featuring an aged Ripley and any Hicks and Newt at all can't not over-write Alien 3. I'm guessing what they mean is anyone is free to still consider Alien 3 canon and ignore the new film or they can take the new film as an alternate canon.
And I don't think they're gonna go a time-travel route or a parallel universe route either. Those two things just wouldn't belong in Alien.

Given the level of detail, I should've known it was PAPO. I never thought to Google extinct crocodilians...
I'm off to Dan's Dinosaurs! (And I prefer the paint job on Kenner Ripley over the regular as well. But then, I'm one of the Kenner Aliens fans, so... What are the chances we'll get an updated Power Loader with tank treads and a missile launcher? I can dream, right?)
Got my cinamachines in this morning. Echoing a few others' thoughts, that stand on the derelict is useless and attempting to make use of it will result in catastrophe. Considering the size, the level of detail is somewhat dissapointing. Considering the 'die cast' claim, the actual amount of metal is underwhelming.
However, for the price, they are actually really cool. If you wanted more metal or more detail, there are $400+ Aoshima and sideshow products all over the place. For ~$20 they are a damn cool and a damn good buy. Very happy with them overall.
For Ss and giggles, I'll post some side by sides with the Aoshima marine vehicles tonight.

...they way to support that is not likes or petitions. It's actually buying their products. The 1/4 Aliens warrior and the dedicated Alien³ series 8 need to sell well, that's how you convince them that there's an interest.

...NECA is a business. What helps is people buying their stuff. A lot of people would put likes on stuff they want but that doesn't mean is viable for them to do it. If the line keeps selling strong, then that makes it more likely to get stuff we want on the long run

Yea, I never thought the line would expand like it has but man am I glad it did! I'm enjoying the ride, buying everything up and will stick with it until the end. Just hoping the end doesn't come any time soon - lol.
