I decided, since I now have a couple of extra Frosts for parts, to try giving my custom "Hive Battle" Hudson a more screen-accurate helmet. The stock Frost helmet was far too light in colour (not without reason, I think; Hudson's cover appears to be far more darkened with wear and crud than Frost's), so I tried going at it with grey and brown felt-tipped pens, and then graphite pencil over top. If I can get all that to stick, I may try adding the graffiti next.

Disassembled my Dog Alien for a repaint/repair. Tired of his legs going all floppy after a while, so I added some metal rod to both sections of lower leg. I was also surprised to find that the dome isn't rigid plastic. Once heated up, it's like a soft vinyl, so there's no worry of cracking it if anyone wants to remove it for a repaint.

A couple of those look are cool, dont care for the middle one. Suppressor / peq15 laser--- cool, Long range scope / with flame thrower attached ---"EEEHHH" , fuel tank blocks magazine well ---"uuuhhh". I still want sentry guns.

Hopefully someone can confirm but I think the Nostromo DLC had check points (No phone booth) I know I died multiple times in a vent section and restarted in a room just outside of the vents. Not sure how exiting the game and restarting works though as I did them both in one sitting.

The Last Survivor DLC isn’t very long and took me around 30 minutes with one death. Crew Expendable felt like the better of the two but had me screaming about how life was unfair and how the Alien was a cheating *******… Not sure how long I was playing that one

yes the crew expendable mode has checkpoints, which when (not if!) you die you don't have to start the entire thing over. However if you exit that, you lose all progress. No save station in crew expendable mode.

Last survivor yeah took me about the same, was killed a few times and IIRC there were no checkpoints in it. The countdown is only 5 mins vs. 10 though.

If it had the fuel canister realigned vertically and a ACOG or Eotech on it instead of Sniper Scope, It would be the TaciCool one of all. Or leave scope, put a bipod on and a butt stock with adjustable check pad

Maybe, but I think the present layout was meant to follow the pattern of the modified weapon loadouts from the Colonial Marines game:

You can't actually attach an underslung flamethrower to the Pulse Rifle in-game, but it appears our mystery modder decided to correct that.

Once you put it back together, do the joints remain firm?

Looks like they're thinking of having 2 Sentry guns in the set? Cool.

Another missed opportunity for a helmet for the customisers though.....so far anyway, maybe there's time to change it up.

They have enough stuff left they could make a second one. It could come with :

The stripped-down Smartgun that the Kenner Ripley had, the smartgun muzzle flash, the WY commando pulse rifle, Both Hicks' and Hudson's helmets, the motion tracker, shoulder lamp, welding torch, Ripley's Pulse Rifle/Flame unit combo and for new sculpts we can get the newt tracker, Vasquez's pistol and whichever knife doesn't come with the sentry gun pack. As a bonus they could include the doll Casey's head since it won't be in the upcoming 2-pack.

Tightening up some joints is on the agenda. Namely, the hip and abdomen joints. It's currently still in pieces in the primer stage, but I did some test fitting on the leg joints when I was adding the metal rod, and they all remained tight.

Very cool to see the sentry guns actually being developed for an accessory pack. If I remember correctly in the past Randy had said they might be too obscure or something like that so it's great to see that change. Not sure why hick's shotgun is in there though, I'd prefer to see helmets. Perhaps one plain and one with a cover. Everything else looks fine.

I don't know what it is about these accessory packs but I love the idea and hope they keep them coming. The USCM pack is my favorite and I love them all. I mean sentry guns complete, I never would've thought NECA would make these a few months back.
