Thanks for the photos sticks those are amazing!!! His custome work is top notch!!!!does anyone have a good photo of the bugle made in beneath? I wanna try and make one myself.

Depends if they would be willing to give us the Blue prints for the designs. Not sure it all depends but I would be apart of it if we get enough people on board.

Oddly enough, I have that Star Wars belt buckle.

And I wore that damn thing with pride.

No wonder I didn't go to prom.

You could have still gone Proto, you might have been alone, but you could have still gone. :lol

Thanks guys for the compliments, but it was because of Jungle Jom, Protozaius, Jessica, AngelofMusic2112, and Ironman1138 that I took those shots. They are the ones that always encouraged me, and kept that fire burning. Hopefully when I am better again, and back on my feet I will take more photos as I find it very therapeutic. I could have sworn that I had a better shot of the bugle I will take another look. Sorry, I guess not.

Angel's Man Catcher

In the picture below Angel made the flag, Man Catcher, Bone whistle, and bugle

Here is a picture of Neca's prototypes

I guess I don't have any other shots.

Very nice Stickman! I wish my Ape Collection was like that. Mines very small with only a few of the Sideshow and Neca figures.

Thanks Ryan, at one point I had well over 60 SS apes. I was able to get them for $20.- $25. each, but have sold all of the loose ones. I still have a complete set of SS' apes MIB including 3 Taylor/Nova 2pack. You did a great job taming your Nova's wild hair. JungleJom has a very nice outfit for his Taylor Nova set. Look at his avatar next time you get a chance. He is often busy and only checks in when he feels it appropriate. He recently left a post in the Save the apes thread if you care to look. He's got one of the best displays of the two.

Stickman wow that's a lot of Apes! Were you sad to let some of them go? Oh Nova's hair out of the box was just terrible. It took me at least 10 minutes to get it right. It felt a little greasy right out of the box so that may of helped tamed the hair. It looks better now and I've seen his profile pic but it isn't very big so I'll have to check it out closely. The outfit on the set is pretty good and I would love to display Taylor without the animal skin poncho but the old Sideshow buck bodies are best kept under clothing. I see he's busy but I'll definitely go back in the thread and check his posts. Would love to see the outfit he made for them!

? What do you mean? They get sold to retailers and are made available. What else do they have to do?

Ah... You must have missed this pic from Toy Fair-

So right now, I'd say they are pinning down exactly which retailers will be involved in the exclusive offering, and how much stock each will get (and how much will be allotted to conventions).

Randy has already confirmed multiple times that Wave 3 is DEFINITELY happening. I'd say they are already in the production phase. He has also said Wave 3 doesn't even need to hit the same numbers as Wave 2, since some of the sales will be direct and therefore offer a greater profit margin.

Our job now is to let retailers now that there is a STRONG market for Apes. The more stores with empty stock and big sales on Apes, the more will pester NECA for new Apes product. :)

Does this mean that toysrus will stop carrying the line? Also I hope this will drive profits and maybe encourage Neca to make humans and other ape characters. This way maybe Neca could produce more of the popular figures such as the gorillas and maybe make the chimps and orangutans more exclusive and limited quantity.

We have no clue which retailers are part of the shared exclusive program yet. Toys R Us could be one of them...

Thanks for the kind words, Sticks. Here is the shot of my Taylor and Nova. I tamed Nova's hair by using a piece of thread tied loosely around her head down by her neck.

Looking great Jungle Jom! A band does the trick for her hair indeed! Luckily for mine it isn't bad when I brushed it and put a little water in the hair and bam it wasn't crazy hair anymore. The outfits look great too! Much more accurate and good looking. You make them yourself?

Hey Ryan!

Yeah, I made them myself. I used some leather from an old jacket and beat the hell out of the material with razor blades. I studies a lot of stills to get the outfits as screen acurate as I could. It really wasn't that difficult.

I'm assuming the SDCC 2015 exclusive is going to be the TV Gorillas.

I'm down with that.
Also, for March 8th, I found a Books A Million thats currently stacked with Series 1 minus Gorilla Soldier. I'll be making a pit stop there for a Cornellias for a Ceasar custom.
