That pic really makes this figure look sweet but in the end this is a pass for me especially if it doesn't come with a dio to match the camo.

No, HT predator looks so inaccurate it's not even funny, it looks good but not when using a critical eye.

Not really. The sculpts pretty much stay the same from prototyping to the final product. It's just the paint jobs that suffer.

I know that the berserker's head won't end up as poorly shaped as the Hot Toys version.

Exactly, Beserker is another great example. NECA's sculpt actually looks like it does in the movie, like it is SUPPOSED to be.


Some people seem to forget that having a higher price-tag on a figure has got nothing to do with wich company has the more talented sculptor, in this case NECA beats HT completely.

Only the mass produced paintjob ones dude, have you seen the painted prototype on NECA's website, the HT one can't hold a candle to that one.

Only the unmasked prototype looks good (looks great) and its still a prototype.

It will look the same but with a factory paintjob wich is easily fixable for a good custom painter.

Neca's Predator figures seem to have much more defenders than the T2 figures do whenever a 'VS Hot Toys' debate comes up. In here it seems if you prefer the HT figures you're in the minority. That was never the case on the T2 figure comparisons.
