The Elder sees this size is not so good.
The 2nd Bone chain is missing.
The details are difficult to recognize.

Looks like Elder and P2 share the same right hand and gauntlet, I understand the reasoning, just an observation.

Actually, the bottom of the gauntlet is Pred 1, while the top blade housing is Pred 2. That's accurate. Hot Toys actually got that wrong.

Ermm so did I. But then the package did say Predator 2 on it.

The mask looks nothing like the actual, the dreads were stupidly executed (and they always were, not just in hindsight) the proportions were silly.

Yeah I guess it was fun because it was the first semi-super articulated figure but it failed in too many other areas.

NECAs one will only fail in one area - paint. But hopefully it too will get an 18"

One of the guys had the Mc Todd P2 on his desk and I took it over to my desk to look at it again. We all just laughed at how off it is and I remember just how poorly art directed it was. I was back home in OK when it was roughed out and that's too bad. To this day I ask my sculpting buddies who did the rough and nobody wants to take the credit for it because they know what a crappy rough it was. The head is even worse and this new NECA P2 is close to what the sculpt should have been if they would have let me have my stab at it. Oh well 8 years later this new one will just have to put that P2 McToys to rest. It's about time and I'm very happy with the proto of this guy. The lost tribe is looking so very sweet. It's really been such fun taking the ball that was dropped by Mc Todd and it wasn't Todd's fault really. He had very poor art directing in NJ at the time. The guys in charge wanted the vets like me on sports. Predators and Aliens require the very best in sculpting and it's sad they just didn't give a crap about doing these guys accurate. Everyone involved on this P2 sculpture really was committed to doing the very best accurate sculpt. One of my guys spent 3 weeks alone on the right gauntlet to make sure it was dead on and put up with me making him redo things over and over again until it looked right. Every inch had lots of study and time put in on it. The Mc Todd P2 was crapped out in 3 or 4 weeks with guys on it fresh out of art school. More of a B time way of doing things but oh well you guys can be the judge in a few months. I would just go nuts to see this guy make it to 1 4th scale.

That is correct, I was looking at the blade boxes while I was typing that.

probably didn't have time to get to them in time for TF. you'll notice he doesn't have the shoulder cannon in those pics either.

The figure you see here is a test shot from the old factory. The bone chain is being made and the new factory is making new test shots which will be way better. The figure is looking really nice and I'm hoping we'll do him in the larger scale. We'll add some of the things on the larger one that the small one will miss out on like the laser sight on his gun.

This test shot was actually from my desk and I removed the gun and trophy necklace to put on another one and just like that someone took this one from my desk with the missing parts. I now know where it ended up. Kind of funny really.

That's a good idea.
How many Lost Predator is there?

It could be attached to each Predator a skull.
After the Build-a Figure principle.
e.g. Elder-Alien skull
City Hunter-human skull
Brother Boa-2. Human skull.

And then in 7 "size, a set the size of a figure where the two large skulls and platters for this wall are.

This system would be very practical.
Because you would have to buy all the Predator and got the trophy wall.

Apart from a few skulls are not a lot of work.
