No, the sculpt was good. It's a fun figure.

Good if you didn't mind that it bore only a passing resemblance to the film creature.

I knew who it was....

The head was too small, the dreads were hardly there, the feet were too big, the waist was too thin, the spears were pretty cool but they were also bent, he couldn't even hold his throwing disc without cutting his fingers apart... The paint wasn't THAT great either, the only reason I still have mine is that I actually like the articulation on it and the fact that it's wrist bracer can open up.

The mask looks nothing like the actual, the dreads were stupidly executed (and they always were, not just in hindsight) the proportions were silly.

Yeah I guess it was fun because it was the first semi-super articulated figure but it failed in too many other areas.

NECAs one will only fail in one area - paint. But hopefully it too will get an 18"

Cool yet blurry shot of the 7 inch elder...

i really don't see the point of them posting crappy cell pics. anyway, it's still cool to finally (kinda) see new pics of the finished Elder. i wish he'd have a right hand he could hold the flintlock in though.

Tankman's best figure. If he did sculpt it. Sorry, but that thing has tons of detail, and is well painted, and made.
