NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

I don't know why, it would be the only 12 inch P2 on the market. And by on the market I mean the freshly made not-$400 market.

Does NECA even have the license for a 12" version? I know in the past certain sizes were not made because the license did not allow it, or another company owned it.

I dunno but regardless they seem to feel its Hot Toys territory, even despite the different markets.

And they might be right. They may have to have a larger production run to make a profit and the time and effort may not produce a product that would sell well enough to compete with HT's no matter how inaccurate it may be.

I totally agree. As long as NECA turns out a quality product I'll keep buying these giant Preds. It definetly beats dropping $200 on the HT's.

Don't expect the reorders to be very different from the ones from the old factory though. Aside from the different paint scheme that will be used for the masked berserker, the rest of both series should look the same as the ones we already have, though with better QC. And only places that have placed re-orders will get them.

Aaaah thats bull____, i wont be buying em. I'm pretty sure they'll re-use the molds they had in the first place but just have them with a better paint job (what he said ^)

Play.com already have their release date for series 3 here in UK, got them coming out in June. Then again they might change the date. Like they always do, had to wait forever till i got series 2.
pre-ordered 3x hounds, masked p1 and p2 elder.

Well, the better paintjob is the issue here. In any case, whatever. I'll reserve the rest of my 'Predators'-related figure collecting for HT.


For the original films, however, all of those are coming from NECA's new factory. Some nice 7" representations of the Lost Hunters and P2 Elder (which we've never gotten), an accurate 7" P2 (with perhaps a 1/4 sometime in the future? ), and an enormous 19" P1.

Well thats actually kind of obivous, Necas sculpts are full of win indeed. Point i was making is the paint jobs, which my case aren't an issue for me at all... I can repaint a full figure if i want to
