Whoa, whoa, whoa... the new factory is redoing the old figures!?

WOW. Well, there's $60 of wasted money. Wonder how much I can get for the old crappy ones loose .

instead of trying to unload your old figures in hopes of getting the exact same figures with marginally better factory paint apps, i'd suggest you commission one of the great customizers on here to do pro repaints.

I cant beleive you guys are worried about it that much that you would be willing to spend that kind of money on 7" inch figures instead of just putting that money towards something else.
I have the 7" preds also and while sure the paint apps on alot of them is up in the air, no way am I running out to buy the same figures again as noted with marginally better paint apps as stated. To each his own though my friends.

I don't care enough about the Predators figures to rebuy. And the 19" P1s will cover me for that essential character, I'm reasonably optimistic they'll come out with good paintjobs - not expert painter/customiser good but good enough.

Yeah thats cool man, I just look at it like these little 7 inch figures are never going to be perfect so no point in buying more of the same characters. Just my opinion though, who am I.

Hmm, that odd... Toysrus.com has the AVP:R series 2 masked and unmasked Wolf Predator up for pre-order. Wonder if they had a wharehouse find, or if NECA is producing more of these. They also have all 3 1/4 Classic Preds for Pre-order too, but not series 3 yet.

Yeah thanks for that update, i went ahead and ordered a masked one. So i have the closed mouth at BBTS. Not sure im going to keep the closed mouth now since I have the Pred LSB on order as well. I just really love the closed mouth look, but I also love the bio'ed look. I'll sit on it and wait. TRU has a date of June for release so I still have time.

I remember that Ebay auction well, that repaint is amazing, I'm sure Joe spent way over $70 worth of his time to paint that. You got that for a steal

I am REALLY hoping I don't have to, but for now let's just say this was not a happy discovery and I am feeling quite disheartened.

Having already picked up some of Neca's older predator figures, I'm betting that the combination of a new factory and great sculpts will push many to purchase these once the factory pics are released. Can't wait for these!
