Damn it, why can't they just release them in the orginal two-up scale. It's a crime that these perfect beauties are doomed to be shrunken down into 7" figures.

they have been posted, but it was a few pages back. and they probably won't be made in larger scales because NECA is better at making excuses than making nice figures. we're just gonna have to wait for HT to make them and hope they make some effort to make them somewhat accurate.

It is just sad how much effort NECA put into doing the Lost Hunters, just to shrink them down to 7". So much detail and accuracy to be lost.

got my predators hound today,and i love it,
i'll give it a 5 out of 5, the new factory did a very good job on it,
i just wish they would do as good on the predators themselves.
it says david silva sculpted it, he done a very good job, i thought tankman sculpted it, but he didn't.

If neca produced 12" figures or 1/6 scaled figures with removeable bios I'd pick them all up. They could be the same sculpts/quality that they use now. They could produce them like Marvel Legends figures. Neca at that scale would be like 40-50 bucks I think. It would be sweet because then everybody would have a shot at 1/6 figures they might not be able to afford. Or you could pick up a double of an expensive figure you already own to customize, photograph, display...etc.

nothing more constructive than the truth. go hop on twitter or read through here and look at all the excuses they come up with for not making high-end preds. they're pretty great at that.

first of all, they'll never do that. we're just getting 7" toys and the occasional 19" pred if we're lucky. but on your point of removable masks - NECA claims that would compromise the sculpt too much, so it's better to have 2 separate sculpts instead. their reasoning for this is because the HT preds are so inaccurate and have over-sized masks/misshapen faces because of that feature. but their aliens are equally misshapen and inaccurate and they don't have removable masks. so i'm inclined to believe the issue is the lousy sculptor, rather than the feature alone. then again, i'm not a sculptor, so i'll defer to tankman's wisdom on that.

Dave did a great job on it and he also did Trackers armor while I did Trackers mask. Not sure about the netting on the Elder or P2 if we make them bigger and like everybody else I'd love to have all these guys made at the larger scales. I think the detail is fine at 8 inches but the paint will be tough on some of these guys. The new factory seems to be having a tough time with the smaller scale Predators and that really disappoints me.
I told Randy about it and he said ALL the factories suck. If you think back for the last 15 years with McFarlane and us there has aways been issues and there aways will be I guess. I'm glad to know the dog seems to be fine.

I think HT P1 and P2 look like crap with their masks on because the heads look like bobble heads with the mask. Someone did a crappy job sculpting on those mask to add to the crappy look. I'm glad Tsang is doing the sculpts now. Too bad HT didn't insist for him to go accurate with the Alien stuff. He still doesn't go all out accurate on the Predators but he gets them much closer than before. Fans need to remember were an action figure company and maybe will go more High end in years to come. don't get me wrong, i don't have any problem with having 2 separate headsculpts. and i could see how the berserker's face probably wouldn't fit in that mask and still look like the movie. but for regular preds like P1/P2, i could see how having removable mandibles and plugging the helmets in that way would work just fine. anyway, if you say it won't work, then i guess it won't work.

and i understand all too well that NECA is an action figure company. but because of the great sculpts, there's no reason they have to stay JUST an action figure company. Sideshow used to make action figures with great sculpts and now they're making some of the best high-end figures in the world. there's no time like the present, the fans want nice big high quality preds and aliens. you guys have been around for like 15 years or so, it's time to jump on the high-end wagon.
