I get the logistics and third world issues and all, but I still have a hard time grasping the concept that people who get paid to paint for a living can't do anything even really close to that.

Predator series 4 and Toys R Us 2 pack will be out in the UK on Monday.I had confirmation that my stock is due in on Monday.So it should be in most other UK comic and specialty toy stores from then on.

i seriously doubt that. but, if you feel so entitled to have a perfect dirt cheap figure, i would suggest learning how to paint them yourself. or pony up the cash for Joe to repaint it and have a perfect expensive figure. or, you know, buy something else. because complaining about the work ethic of underpaid kids actually won't get you a better figure.

Logistics and Third World Issues? Sure you do. Each worker can paint MUCH better than some of the customisers here. But they cant afford to for a $18 figure. A customiser takes days or maybe atleast 6/7 hours to paint a figure completely (being a customiser I can say it takes a couple of days) A worker has to complete his/her part of a paint layer not one unit in 6/7 hours rather 20/30 units in one hour.

You have NO IDEA about cheap/exploited labour so it will be wise to not start a discussion on that. I can say that for the money the workers are paid, they do a damned good job...

That is true, the don't have free time to paint them perfectly..they're on a time limit, and they have several figures to complete..

Who the hell said anything perfect ____ing paint, somehting at a professional customizer's caliber, or work ethics? screw it. I refuse to argue about this. It's not going to go anywhere. It never does. You're right, I'm wrong. It doesn't matter enough to me to go on and on about it. I don't like the paint. I think it could be done better. Tankman who works for NECA blames the factory workers or the factory management or some other crap on why the paint is sloppy, like moving the work to a different factory would improve things, we also see other NECA stuff with somewhat difficult paint jobs come out pretty cleanly, but you know, again, screw it. Please keep talking about it. Have at it.

For the Predator 2 movie accurate Gort/Guardian Predator, will it be the right thing to switch one of the City Hunter heads with the SDCC exclusive Gort mask head? Or will the dreads be inaccurate then?

The NECA Proto gives it the same things as the City hunter body but the paint is gray with black stripes like the HT Guardian, is that screen accurate?

It's not 100% obvious from screen caps, but I think it's pretty clear that the Predator 2 Gort is basically just the city hunter with another mask. From what I can tell the markings are the same, too. He's certainly not gray, anyway:
