Where did you get the first Alien Predator 2 pack from a-dev? (or did you, like me, not get it at all)
That one was sold on BBTS was it not? I did get that one....hmmm, maybe it was Forbiddenplanet.com - actually thats one place I haven't checked...

Nope, it didnt. There was one set of it that sold 4 days back in the vintage section. TRU exclusives never come to BBTS unless someone sells it to them in their vintage section
Hmmm, well I don't see the new 2 pack at forbiddenplanet either.

Just opened up City Hunter. It's a nice figure with good articulation. What caught me off guard is that he's going commando. Never caught that in any images, or perhaps I chose to ignore that.

Found and bought an Elder today. The right arm snapped right off the moment after I had opened him up and tried to try out the posing options. Thanks NECA for saving me money as I don't intend to buy anymore from you.

picked up Shaman and City today, (didn't have enough $ for Borg, but I will go back later to get him)
anyway, after weeks and weeks of calling toysrus to see what they had in stock-only for them to NEVER ANSWER THEIR FREAKIN' PHONE!
-they finally picked up, I asked "any predator figures in stock?" the lady says "what's a predator?"-then she says "I'll check. You wanted Terminator right?"-I said "no, Predator" she said "oh. how do you spell that?"- so I spelled it for her, she said "ok lemme check"; 5 minutes later "no, I don't see any, sorry". I decided to go anyway, and sure enough, they had about 5 or 6 of each fig so I got city and hippie, (opening city @ Christmas) but I opened shaman/hippie, and man, do I love this new series! Other than the fact I couldn't fit his staff in one of his hands (not a big deal, since it still fits in the other hand) this figure is really near-perfect. sculpt, paint, articulation, qc, etc. However, looking at the city/ghost still in package I see one of his knee pins is severely damaged so I think I'll go back and replace it for another but yeah overall love this series can't wait for the rest of the lost preds!

Its stupid and ridiculous, we shouldn't have to do it, but you really do literally have to heat the figures up before you try doing anything with them. From the box straight into a tub of hot water. Although I'm unclear whether this has to be done EVERY time you want to change a pose or whether it has any effect on figures whose joints are as feeble as say the T2 T-1000.
Anyway, thanks to S.Griffin I got an order in for the new 2 pack at www.forbiddenplanet.com

And I am just amazed, not surprised, but amazed at the severe cases of stupidity and lazyness that teenagers (or anyone who works at ToysRus) have today.
It's just, painful to read things like this. How can you restrain yourself from going down there and bashing her head into a wall? I don't think I could control myself...and I wouldn't want to.
Whatever job, no matter how minute..you need to do your homework. If I worked at ToysRus and I knew customers would be calling me asking me about specific items that the store sells, I would have the right answers. I would have learned everything about the store, everyhing it sells, what's in stock, etc..
I don't understand how these people can live with themselves. We can just hope they have very painful deaths.
