I didn't even go mad with it, it just snapped.

Me neither though it was my 7" masked P1 that broke at the elbow. The slightest investigative movement- OH! Snap.

You can't even risk the lightest pressure on them to see if the joint might be stuck. Just assume they are and immerse them in hot water.

Just the Elder and Classic are like that, the new series doesn't seem to have the brittle joints issue thankfully.

I bought 3 classics before I gave up and just did the joint surgery fix that someone posted a while back (apologies, I don't remember who it was). Though the 2 elders I opened were just fine, so go figure.

Bought an Elder, and his elbow snapped. After a couple months NECA replaced it, and that figure's knee had snapped during shipping or something (they ship them loose and not as carefully packed as one of us would probably do it). Swapped the good leg from the first one for the bad leg on the second and now I have a figure that's in good shape and also feels like it wasn't worth all the stress and the effort.

If they also had it custom painted for you by a pro maybe it would feel worth it but no, you still end up with just a plain stock figure like the rest of us. :lol

Seriously though, I don't get how a company can respond to a broken figure issue by sending another one out with barely any care given to how they package it. Maybe you should have sent it right back with a note 'Are you ___king serious??!' and just demanded a refund.

How many factory changes will NECA go through before theres some consistency. Heres hoping that wave 5 doesn't just go right back to brittle plastic.

Yep, got my fingers crossed!

They need to use whatever factory made the Wolf Preds and stop cheaping out.

They don't change factories as often as you might think, QC can vary greatly within one organization depending on the management on any given project.

To be honest, I wouldn't be all that surprised if the current stuff is coming out of the same factory that did the AVP stuff.

Luckily, this new series doesn't seem to be having any breakage issues.

Maybe they can keep it up for the rest of the Losties.

I sent an "Are you ____ing serious?" e-mail to customer service with pics and telling them I was done with the whole damn thing and to show the pics to Randy and tell him that ____ like that is unacceptable.

If you're done with their figures then why are you continuing to participate in this forum? :nono

But really, Bud, you gotta stop being logical on the internet. It's like mixing oil and water. And FYI fellas, "done with the whole thing" was referring to the back and forth bull____ with the replacement.

Just fyi, it's not "Borg", It's "Boar". Borg is the green one with the cyborgish armor...he's not out yet.

And I am just amazed, not surprised, but amazed at the severe cases of stupidity and lazyness that teenagers (or anyone who works at ToysRus) have today.

It's just, painful to read things like this. How can you restrain yourself from going down there and bashing her head into a wall? I don't think I could control myself...and I wouldn't want to.

Whatever job, no matter how minute..you need to do your homework. If I worked at ToysRus and I knew customers would be calling me asking me about specific items that the store sells, I would have the right answers. I would have learned everything about the store, everyhing it sells, what's in stock, etc..

I don't understand how these people can live with themselves. We can just hope they have very painful deaths.

ah yes, I meant boar, not borg, lol thanks. and my sister used to work at toys r us and I taught her so much of how to know what was in stock and what wasn't I helped her out so much more than the person who hired her and I was only like 15 at the time XD
