NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

My guess is May/June for PREDATORS shots with the movie out in July, maybe we'll get more on P1 and P2 Elder soon too, would be nice, I'd take even a release date just to have a clue when we're waiting until.

If all goes the way I'm hoping Predator fans will be real happy for the next two years. Randy and myself were talking about what cool things we should do and the fans I'm hoping will be just as pumped as I will if things go the way I'm hoping. Fingers crossed.

I'm sorry if this has been addressed, I'm sure it has been, but how are the final versions of the P1 and P2 Elder looking? I mean the versions that will hit retail.

So far we have the fine cut of P1. Everything looks great and I see one or two things I will improve on the bigger one if we make it. I like to nit pic everything and am always wanting to do the very best figure. Elder is still waitng for his dreads which I hope to get back on real soon. I've been busy with a way cool Predators head this past week which is way cool looking but takes forever to sculpt. I've been playing around with the P1 fine cut and can't wait for the test shots. The fine cuts on the new guys are even better than I thought they would be. I'm getting a P2 bug and hope we do him soon. Predators and Alien are so very hard to sculpt accurate but so worth the try. These guys are just the coolest.

i'm gonna go ahead and interpret this as meaning neca is gonna make a P2 lost clan diorama pack.

I wish we were and with NECA you never really know what we'll do. How cool would it be though?

That's one flaw I find with NECA, you really can't tell what they'll do, sometimes it's a lot, other times much less than you'd think.

make several packs with 3-4 preds each and with connecting dio bases that all connect to create a huge amazing tabletop diorama.

unfortunately It seems like the lines they continue are usually the ones I don't have much interest in

I hear ya there and for me it's way cool when I give up and then just like that we make the figure.

I honestly can't wait for these figs! Some people I know want Pred Youngblood figures from the game, so if those are done I might get 'em too... But my main goal is to buy the movie-based designs. I just hope the paintjob on the unmasked P2 is good. I already have an HT P2 that I keep masked at all times, so I want an unmasked NECA version to keep the balance.

I know you might not be able to shed too much light on this, Tank, but do the Preds from the upcoming movie look noticeably different in design (head-wise, body-wise, etc.), compared to the ones we know?

But, here's one I'm curious about.

Are there going to be different versions of the PREDATORS movie figs?

By different I mean masked and unmasked.

I would think yes, just to try and recoup costs if they can't recycle mcuh between them.

Yes things like that and maybe and the net not being sculpted on even though china did a great job.

has there been any news on when pred 1 and 2 figs are gonna be released?? we really need some release dates here!! im getting kinda impatiant that we got dates for T2 figures but no predator!
