I'm liking the possibilities with this one. Cheaper than I thought it would be so I just ordered 4 of those ugly mother****ers. Will reduce if I need to when the time comes.

Yep so in for that one. Don't have a City Hunter and looks like a great upgrade too.

I don't have a city hunter so this is a must for me. Looks fantastic. Love that he will have lots of accessories.

Nice idea Vector. I might just get a set of those.

Thinking about it, I really can't see myself being compelled to buy as many of the Ultimate Jungle Hunter - in fact just one might do it. Considering all the previous releases there's little if anything from the movie that I actually need more figures for. He spends most of the movie off-screen or cloaked and he doesn't use a wide array of weapons like the City Hunter does. He also doesn't take on the various degrees of battle-damage that City hunter does. So yeah I think just one Ultimate Jungle Hunter will do for my collection - a pose that takes advantage of the added articulation maybe.

Do you ever pay for the 'Collector's Grade' upgrade when you order? And if you do, how do they arrive after being shipped all the way over there?

a-dev can give you his comments, and even though I'm pissed-off with BBTS at the moment, I have to say that their packing & shipping is great.

I have never requested "collectors grade", but regardless, their packing is very thorough and I have have never had a single item arrive damaged in transit (had a couple damaged BEFORE shipping but that's not BBTS's fault).

No, it's actually something I completely forgot was even an option at BBTS. So I guess I've been ordering standard grade and substandard all this time.

My stuff always arrives fine, unless it was already a damaged art box when they put it in the shipper in the first place. The shipping boxes themselves are sturdy and always reach me in fine condition. And there's always those green sheets of bubblewrap around the items.

When you get the collectors grade they put the figure box in a plastic bag and seal it then they place the wrapped figure box inside its own cardboard box before packing it for shipping

So that would be:
  1. The item
  2. Inside it's own packaging (which could be a box)
  3. Inside a bag
  4. Inside a box
  5. Inside bubble-wrap
  6. (likely) alongside other items
  7. Inside the big box.

Seems like overkill for a plastic toy - but I guess some people must want it or they wouldn't offer the service.

Thanks for the info though - I'd always wondered myself.

Looking forward to him aswell I have to say. He'll be my first Predator in awhile as I haven't been buying the Kenner or AvP figures.

They've really made this one worthwhile. A second gripping hand at last - added to the capability of using the net-gun, the dart gun in his gauntlet, a holder for his spear on his back, the opening wrist computer, the shoulder cannon blast effect, the skull & spine and the new articulation. Plus an unmasked head which I actually won't be using but that's beside the point. It's an excellent set provided the QC holds up.

The ultimate city hunter looks really good. It has a lot of nice little features like the clip for the spear, the wrist blaster and removable net gun.

I've always wondered if the wrist gauntlets were meant to be reversed on city hunter for the suit, with the wrist blades on the left and wrist computer on the right. The way the cover opens on the wrist comp down and towards the body just seems awkward to me. Also curious how he is the only featured and prominent "hero" Predator in the films with the targeting laser projector on the left side of the helmet as opposed to the right.

Thanks for all the responses, guys. :goodpost: (I ordered 3 Ultimate City Hunters myself, and I'm praying they'll be good...)
